What made the experience of listening to The Doctor Wears a Stetson the most enjoyable?
I liked the unpredictability of this book the best. It didn't follow 'the formula' and I was pleasantly surprised. What did you like best about this story?
how the main characters interactedHave you listened to any of Erin Mallon’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
Not applicable as this was my introduction. If you could rename The Doctor Wears a Stetson, what would you call it?
Why would I want to?? I purchased this book because of the title.Any additional comments?
Although what I expected played havoc while listening to this book, I still enjoyed the read. It was well crafted and held my interest. It's hard to resist intriguing characters who overcome, grow and then love wholeheartedly.A good book

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?
I liked the story to a degree. I would have liked to slap both the hero and heroine upside the head more than once. The angst in the romance could have been written off as high school sweethearts reliving the past. Even as adult as the hero/heroine were in age, their reactions to each other was very young adult. It wasn't a waste of time because I enjoy romances. If you’ve listened to books by Anne Marie Novark before, how does this one compare?
I have not listened to any other of the author's books. There were a couple of inconsistencies that I think I found, but they were minor.Did the narration match the pace of the story?
The narrator did a good job with the pace of the story, the consistency of the voices, but the variation of voices weren't many. What would have made this romance irresistible?
The heroine had some pretty silly, stubborn thoughts and the hero let a lot of time elapse between events. I realize there are couples out there like these folks, but I had a hard time with their foolishness.Pretty good romance

Any additional comments?
Jessie was a little silly to me. She made her DEAD husband a promise and simply refused to break that promise AND she made Cameron's mother, who's ALIVE, a promise that had to do with the promise she made to her dead husband and who does she screw over? Cameron's mother!! And she's loved Cameron since she was 16. He returns after 17 years, they fall in love again and when he asks her to marry him she says NO! Jessie was just too wishy-washy for me but I really liked Cameron. I liked Sarah Sue, too.As to the narrator: She did an excellent job on the voices. Not a whole lot of emotions while she read but I would listen to her again.
An OK read..
