Story
This new stand-alone survival thriller thrusts the most dynamic city on Earth, New York, into darkness as North America is bludgeoned by the sun's ferocity. Scientists promised a beautiful aurora providing the city that never sleeps with magnificent hues of blue and green. For three days, New Yorkers took to the streets, parks, and rooftops to enjoy the awe-inspiring spectacle. As the power grid failed, the city of New York collapsed with remarkable speed. The thin veneer of civilization was laid bare as man fought one another for survival.

Story
The world transformed in the blink of an eye. H5N8, a deadly strain of coronavirus, shut everything down as people cowered in their homes, fearful of the disease. Schools and businesses shut their doors. The economy crashed. People went hungry, while others hoarded food and supplies. Interaction between neighbors became strained, each believing that the other carried the virus. When martial law was declared, National Guard troops showed up, patrolling the streets by day and enforcing a strict curfew after dark.

Story
This is the way the world ends. Not with a bang but a scream. In the remote mountains of Northern Alaska, Dr. Riley Middleton and her team of archeologists discover a burial site containing mummified remains dating to the last ice age. None of them notice the warning carved into the entrance or realize that the tomb had been deliberately sealed from the outside until they’ve already released a virus that turns ordinary people into murderous monsters. But there’s something even more terrifying inside...something ancient...something unspeakably evil.

Story
In Las Vegas, Nevada, Dylan, his family, and their loyal Australian Kelpie, Pepper, are like everyone else. They scrape for food and do whatever it takes, but at least they’re in one of the few remaining cities where they can keep the family together. It was hard, but everything changed the day Dylan’s daughter decided to leave. When Maci left with her boyfriend, Logan, she had no idea what they would discover in the rest of the country. It was worse than she imagined. Raiders, cannibals, and rogue factions roamed. It wasn’t long before she realized the real threat.

Joe Buck is on a collision course with a life-altering event. He’ll need to rely on his skills to survive the catastrophic EMP about to unfold as he’s working behind the scenes at his blue collar job at the Super Bowl. Breakout country singer and small-town girl Lexi Carter is on the same trajectory. She has just finished singing a well-received rendition of the National Anthem at the Super Bowl. The crowd is raucous. The performances were meticulously rehearsed, finely tuned down to the second, and should have gone off without a hitch. Except for one surprise glitch: an EMP.

The situation around the Sanders’ farm is bleak, and likely to remain that way. A region trying to right itself after an incredible disaster is hit once again. This time, it may well be a knockout blow for many. The farm is still running, still surviving, and still trying to get things restarted. The Fires of America seem to have truly burned out, leaving nothing more than a few embers. But embers can still burn….

Publisher's Summary
Eight years after the collapse of the global economy and the fall of modern society, simply surviving each day is a gift. Starvation, disease, and death lurk in the shadows, waiting for their opportunity to claim another life. The great nations have fallen, replaced by local communities that will do anything to keep their people alive.
Jace Thompson finds himself fleeing from the insidious forces of the Collective. He makes it across the Potomac River into what was once the American state of Maryland. His fortune begins to turn when he stumbles across a house, unmolested by scavengers, which holds a gruesome mystery that will forever alter his life. In the basement, Jace finds three desiccated bodies near a solar-powered laptop. The laptop contains instructions on how to find a secret bunker that promises enough food to last for decades.
It’s an opportunity that Jace can’t pass up, but the discovery threatens to lead to him toward his death. Will he survive the journey, or will he end up as just another discarded body along the roadside?
