When a visiting Chinese general is kidnapped on American soil, it looks as if the President's goal of diplomatic détente will be dashed. the voice acting was pretty good and the spirit of the stories was well captured. need another hundred like this!

good stuff

not bad I love Remo and Chuin. this was my first audio book for the destroyer series. I will look for more.

the storyline

I love the characters remo and chuin they're fun to listen too. the relationship in chuin and the training of Remo is always fun to listen and learn.

Better on audio

Read the book back in 1988, loved the book. Started reading the series in 87 and would read them when I could find them. Wish I had found them in order. Now I have found them on audio and will find time to them.

I was very impressed

I was introduced to this series by my grandfather in the late eighties early nineties my grandfather was a trucker and on one of his halls I was allowed to go with him he introduced me to this this was the 1st book I was able to buy and is 1 of the longest running series is that i own if audible is able to get ahold of every version this will probably be the largest collection I will have please make an effort to try and find all of the destroyer the books are worth it
