In the small Florida town of Seabrook, a young lawyer named Keith Russo was shot dead at his desk as he worked late one night. The killer left no clues. There were no witnesses, no one with a motive. My name is Gracie Springs, and I am not a witch...but I’m pretty sure my cat is. I first started to get suspicious when he jumped just a little too high while chasing after a robin in our front yard. I knew for sure when he opened up his mouth and addressed me by name! The first thing he told me? That he doesn’t like the name I gave him - even though “Fluffy” fits him like a warm sweater at Christmas. Now we’ve compromised on “Merlin the Magical Fluff”, which according to him references his long and proud lineage just fine.

Another entertaining Daisy McDare cozy mystery
Another of Daisy's escapades. I loved the mix of mystery solving and personal life. Daisy deserved some happiness considering how much trouble seems to find her. A quick listen with plenty of twists and turns, and I enjoyed this audiobook. Stephanie Quinn once again did a nice job at bringing the story to life.

A fun little mystery short story
Daisy McDare's last case is wrapped up, and now they're just waiting for the jury to come back with their verdict. In the midst of this, a new mystery arises--Daisy's husband sees Trevor, husband of Daisy's best friend, Samantha, on a city street, kissing a woman who definitely isn't Samantha. What's going on? And why does Trevor sound so convincing when Daisy confronts him and he denies it?
It's an interesting little mystery with a twist, and while the reader or listener may catch on before the characters do, it's still a fun story. The characters are interesting, likable, and determined to do the right thing.
Recommended as a light read or listen.

Must read book 10 first
Picking up from where book 10 finished, Daisy cannot concentrate on her interior design business as Corey Kincaid stands trial for murder, thanks in part to Daisy’s investigating. Will Corey be found guilty or will the unthinkable happen and he be acquitted?
There are secrets, twists and turns and enough mystery and suspense to satisfy my inner detective spirit. The narrator Stephanie Quinn is new to me and I enjoyed her performance, she brought the story to life for me.
Cozy Creek is a quirky town, where murders and secrets abound.

Wonderful news
The Deadly Judicial Affair book has everyone running around worried about the outcome of a murder trial. This book contains secrets, quirky characters, unexpected new beginnings all wrapped up in one big cozy hilarious storyline. The twist and turns are absolutely nothing your going to see coming. Cozy creek is about to become a whole lot more mysterious.
The storyline is very well written with a side of wow. I totally love it. The characters are well developed and as quirky and funny as ever. This book will make you laugh and bring a smile to your face and make your heart feel all warm and cuddly.

The Deadly Judicial Affair was a great read by K.M. Morgan. There is a murder trial happening in Cozy Creek and Daisy is having a hard time focusing on her decorating work. During the trial, Daisy finds out that her friends husband may be cheating on her. Daisy does some sleuthing to find out what happened. This was another great Daisy McDare book. Need to start at the beginning.
The deadly judicial affair is part of a cozy mystery series. It’s the only one I’ve read and this has affected my review because this would have been better if I’d understood the background to the story.
Daisy and Gavin are a meddling couple now there previous case is over (which must have been in the last book) they find themselves with a new mystery. The affair kind, but all is not what it seems. This felt like the second half of a book making it difficult to fully enjoy.
The narrator reads the story well and the twist makes a good ending.
ARC in exchange for an honest review.
