Hanging out with old friends
Cap does a great job keeping things fresh by adding new elements and teammates. The core group are like old friends, and you see them develop and change as the series goes on. I hope he doesn’t get tired of writing these.

If I had a Boat
Great! Tho average Cap D Chase yarn. Space filling Chase moaning and groaning about the trails and tribulations of leadership and responsibility falls on deaf ears, mine anyway. He is the boss and he cares, Yada Yada! That isn't effective for subordinates in the real world and is just as tedious in print, or in an ebook. Maybe less. The egg and the Astor aspect was great. I love checking out the way Cap "spins" history. Someone has to tell it and someone, myself here, will relish in the telling!

Still not the biggest fan of the narration but great story
The Chase Fulton series is one of my all time favorites! Narrators voice and inflection take some getting used to but it doesn’t diminish the story.

Russian gender based nicknames are reversed and inaccurate “Chase-ichka” would be a reference to a woman not a man.
