Story
The most captivating woman in the city has walked into my office. Hair as red as carnal passion, and a body I can’t stop fantasizing about. She doesn’t know it yet, but I’m about to ask her out. And she will say yes, because she won’t have a reason to say no. When my conquest is complete, I intend to forget all about her. She is, after all, the reason for my pain. She is the source of my breakup, and the woman my good-for-nothing ex seduced. I will not fall for her, no matter how tempting she is. It’s not becoming to be The Other Woman, after all.

Publisher's summary
The life in the Hamptons village runs parallel with the theatre piece’s plot in weird and wonderful ways, and Tina-Marie Miller weaves the strains together into a wonderful piece of women’s fiction.
When Tiggy Lawrence returns home after a nine-year absence, she hopes to finally be able to lay the demons from her past to rest. Fortunately, Aster Maxwell presents a welcome distraction - much to the disappointment of her childhood sweetheart. But Aster has his heart set on Tiggy for other reasons and will stop at nothing to get what he wants!
Bridget Rhodes-Brown is fed up! Having been made redundant, she’s since found herself stuck at home with a husband whose eccentricity is off the scale! She jumps at the opportunity to create a script for the Hampton Players. Good job Christine Fox is on hand to offer help too.
There’s more than a few theatrics as the Hampton players begin rehearsals!
Set in the beguiling Cotswolds, this lighthearted British cozy mystery will delight with its entertaining cast of humorous characters and surprising plot twists!

For Sam Lovell, organising the summer festival in her hometown is one of the highlights of her year. It’s not always smooth sailing, but she loves to see Porthmellow’s harbour packed with happy visitors and being on the committee has provided a much-needed distraction from the drama in her family life (and the distinct lack of it in her love life). When their star guest pulls out with only a few weeks to go, everyone’s delighted when a London chef who grew up locally steps in at the last minute.

Story
My husband and I are fighting for our lives in hospital after a terrible car accident. But despite my pain, all I can think about is what our families will find behind our front door. The scarf that has been all over the news, belonging to a dead young woman with honey-coloured hair. I have to speak to the police before my husband can. I’m drifting in and out of consciousness, but when I hear my wife talking to the police, accusing me of the murder of an innocent woman, a cold fear grips me. I know I’ve got a temper.

good
So many unique strange characters that I didn't know who to focus on. Poor communication and greed are the main theme throughout the story. I didn't know what was coming next. Entertaining but odd, imo. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator did a good job bringing it to life.

Quirky but Entertaining
I really liked this book with all the quirky characters. Tara-Louise Kaye did a fantastic job narrating the many characters all the while breathing life into the story. This is my honest unbiased review. I received this book for free but this is all my opinion.
