Publisher's Summary

Narrated by the author, this is an eloquently written memoir of the author and his wife's crazy life experiences, splashed and peppered with the outrageous antics of this wildly witted Bengal Kitten that not only turned their Empty Nest upside-down - but brought into focus a continuity of Kindred Spirits that gave meaning to their lives.

A heartfelt and hilarious read that will leave you loving The Culprit from start to finish!

Not a cat story

This cover implies that the book is mainly about a cat. It is actually about a cat dad. The story strings together short stories that jump around and doesn’t necessarily flow. Half way through he stops talking about the cat. Although entertaining, the silly sound effects are distracting and the ending is the worst. As a Media Specialist and cat lover I hate to say it but would not recommend.😒

WTF?

Nice enough story but really just bait for a second book. I couldn’t believe Audible allowed this. Half-assed attempt at writing, incomplete story not even with an try at a finish. I feel cheated. Blatant rip-off.
In addition to a jumpy story line that left me wondering if the recording was messed up.
I’m asking for a refund.

broke my heart

I listen to my books while I'm driving. I would find myself laughing so hard I'd have tears coming out of my eyes. then the end truly wrenched my heart.

where is the ending ?

though I like the story. after all how can you not love a story about the cat training the humans . I really feel as if the story has been left to wither and die without having a following book .

ok, not overly moving.

I love pet stories but was not particularly moved by this one. Didn't keep me holding on for the next chapter.

This book is all over the place.

I bought the book thinking it was all about this cat - the culprit - and his/her adventures. Some of it was enjoyable, but for the most part the chapters bounced all over the place and some (the horse stories) I couldn’t figure out why they were included in the first place. Had nothing to do with anything....
Also, the wordiness of the writers sentences got on my nerves about 2 chapters in. If one word adequately describes something, don’t add three more!! Ugh.
Thats what I get for buying a book I judged my it’s cover. (The cover is cute) Oh well, live and learn.

A Series of High School Essays

I would never normally take the time to criticize any writer's work because it's a great feat to write and publish a book! However, because I believe this book disrespects its readers with that cheap ploy ending, I would like to warn other potential readers not to expect a well-crafted, rewarding read. I really wanted to love the story of a man and his cat, but this book is so poorly written, it makes me wonder if it had an editor.
