This book is a very interesting and in depth review of medieval crusades and the powerful men who wielded the swords. I found it quite complicated in following the timelines and locations so using a historical map (included in the book) helpful. I got a free review copy of this audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left a review.

Worth the time
Thoughtful, well researched, presenting alternate views when the historical record isn't clear, and well researched: what else could one ask for? This is very well done.
