Publisher's summary

While it might appear to be a bold statement, it is reasonable to conclude that all of the major components that occur during a near-death experience have already been revealed; from the initial out-of-body experience, to the NDEr being told, “It is not your time. You must go back.” Most who have had an NDE describe this otherworldly realm as heaven. And heaven, if it is real, would not likely change over time. So, is there more to learn about this phenomenon?

In Crossover Experience, our trio of researchers focus on the fine details that are often overshadowed by these events. And it is here they found a treasure-trove of clues and qualities that reveal much more of the contours, depth and messaging found within a near-death experience. What they also found, to their surprise—that it is often in what we don’t see in an NDE that we gain the greatest insight.

Join us as we take you on a wondrous journey through 200 of the most exceptional near-death experiences on record, in search of a deeper, more expansive understanding of what the NDE is trying to communicate to us all. That we are much more than the physical, material world we see around us. We are much more than our bodies. Death is not an end to our being, it is merely a transition into a different, more expansive existence.

This is the best book I've read on NDEs!

... and I've read at least a dozen. I believe this format is particularly suited for someone who has already listened to a series of complete stories, from start to finish, and then, as a second and "inevitable" book, this one!

If the authors had included 3-4 complete reports, as an introductory feature on the topic, before delving into the very well-executed analysis, it would be the perfect text, even for people who are just beginning to explore the subject.
I hope that the authors, both for this excellent book itself and for the dissemination of this topic, will add some complete NDEs at the beginning in a subsequent edition.

I also hope that the book is translated, at least into Spanish and German so I can recommend it and even gift it to friends and family.

Once again, thank you for this wonderful, well-structured read!

Best regards

Fantastic, and credible overview

I’ve been reading a lot of books on NDEs lately and this is one of my favorites. It culls from thousands of NDEs to present the most common aspects that recur across cultures, religions, and time. This book makes experiences that might seem unbelievable on their own, highly believable when set in relationship with so many others.

Not What I Thought

I just didn't care for this version of NDE books. I've heard way better version's of NDE book.

The switching of readers was too annoying

I could not through this, stories were not great and the readers switch every minute. I never write reviews but this reading was not something i could stand.

Appreciate the subject, but something’s missing

I appreciate these NDE stories, but they seem to carry the most authentic energy when told directly by the person that experienced it. This book felt a bit hollow, as the voice actors cannot transmit the REAL energy of the person that experienced a crossover. Another problematic section concerning the authenticity of this audio book is the section of “analysis” after a story is told (each story is told in fragmented parts much like an infomercial with testimonials broken up into bite size sound bites, rather than a naturally flowing single story narrative.)

I noticed a couple times when there was an analysis response to a story, the SAME exact analysis repeated for two different experiences, so it felt like a copy/paste mistake by the author or that it was indeed compiled by chat gpt and hastily thrown together to make a quick buck off of freely available online forums of other peoples experiences. Also, I am curious if these people are aware their personal stories are being used for this book?

Another mistake happened at the end where they have a male or female voice read an experience. They actually repeated a story twice, once read by a male and then the same story response read by a female totally shattering the authenticity of these stories. Which person had the experience? The same story was read by two different people. An editor would’ve caught this.

A compilation of NDES in an audio book format is a great idea. To me, the most effective way to transmit this energy is to use the people’s actual voices and testimonials. Anything less than this weakens the power of someone’s subjective experience.
