The performance is ugh

The story and the author’s resume are impressive but the performance of this audiobook is extremely distracting. It sounds like a bad amateur actor in a horrible indie film. Probably should have hired a professional reader. It really took away from the impactful content.

Very interesting

Despite the horrible narration, as others have stated, I found the subject matter to be fascinating. I am glad I listened despite the author aka narrator’s overly dramatic reading.
