Sweet Romance

This is the third book in the Grant Brothers Series. I love these Brothers! Nate and Athena's enemies-to-lovers romance is sweet, and fun. They are two stubborn competitors/rivals. Their chemistry is sizzling. This is a good story. Mathias Strongbow did a good job with the narration. I was given a free review copy of the audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Enjoyable!

The Cowboy's Rodeo Rival is an excellent addition to the Grant Brothers series and another wonderfully-written romance by Leslie North. The characters are fabulous, their personalities, and the connection was utterly authentic. We finally get the chance to hear Ethan (Nate), the last Grant brother get his chance in love with Athena Moore, a childhood friend, a rodeo rider, and a rival. Beneath the competitiveness, there was a whole lot of fiery passion, and chemistry was absolutely electrifying. I loved every minute of their story!

Superb narration by Mathias Strongbow, he did a great job with the characters, further immersing the listeners. All around, The Cowboy's Rodeo Rival was a very enjoyable listen, one I'll recommend. I was waiting for this third Grant Brother! And he was so worth the wait! We get to meet Nate, the youngest of the brothers, returning home from the rodeo circuit. He is performing at home and hoping to get a sponsor. Everyone is happy to see him, except his childhood friend, Athena Moore. She too is a rodeo rider, but life has taken a different path for her.Their rivalry is real, but so is the underlying passion. Will these two be able to work together without igniting? I love Leslie North's novellas. They are just long enough to suck me in and invest my heart. I was wondering how Athena and Nate would turn out. These two are combustible. Not only do they have chemistry, but their both stubborn and get in each other's way. I love the addition of the reality show too, giving them another stumbling block. Add in cameos from Ian and Jonah and the story is complete for me!

Mathias Strongbow finishes out the trilogy, as he has become the Grant Brothers voices! He breathes life into these two giving Nate the competitive sound and makes Athena a spitfire! It's a fun listen!

Enjoyable

Not being familiar with the first 2 books from the series, this was a cute, fun read. The hate/love relationship between the characters was fun. Their stubborn, competitive rivalry was what made the story. Loved the narrator!
