Publisher's summary

Following heartbreak, Rosy has rebuilt her life in the beautiful Cornish village of Penmenna.

Now headmistress of the local school, she is living by The Rule: no dating anyone in the village. Easy, right? But Rosy Winter has a new neighbour: handsome gardener Matt.

In Penmenna for his new gardening TV show, this guy next door will do everything he can to persuade her to break her rule and win her heart.

Meanwhile, Penmenna Village School is threatened with closure, and it’s up to Rosy to rally the local community and #SaveOurSchool.

Can she bring her worlds together and accept help from the most unlikely of sources? One thing’s for sure...she won’t be giving up without a fight.

Narrator needs to lay off the sugar and step away

from the caffeine! I kept imagining a Jack Russell terrier running around in circles telling this story.
VERY disorienting....

Nice story

I would have enjoyed this much more had the narrator not read it so darn fast, she needs to slow down and improve her accents

Very poor reading

Such a shame-I think I might have enjoyed this book but got a few chapters in and got really fed up with the way the story was being read. Sorry to be so critical but it was being read fairly fast and with few pauses for effect, and the voice was very not very interesting even with the different voices-not enough contrast and not enough time and care taken over important bits of the story-just not a voice I wanted to hear for such a long book.

Nice happy feel

Loved the story and was well read. Living in the South West it was good to have something set in places I could imagine the story being set
