Great family pet.

If I had listened to this book before getting my Heeler it would have scared me off. Piper is 3 and she is a very intelligent loving animal. I love this breed. if you're an active person go for it. you must exercise and train the rewards are worth it.

it's a guide

yes heelers are trickster farm dogs that love to nip. but it's not much new from just training a dog. it's a high energy dog that shouldn't be left in an apartment. maybe a good reminder. I also have a heeler/ idaho shag. that's probably more shag

Very good introduction to the breed.

Sometimes books like this on Audible cam be a disappointment as they can be very generic and just another breed put on the cover but this one was fine. Really does contain the most vital info specific to the unique breed that is the Australian Cattle Dog.

I would have liked a bit more info on the dingo aspects but maybe the author is not convinced of whether the dingo story is true or not.
