loved it..captivating and entertaining!

as a mother of a biracial child, I loved this story. It is hard to stop listening the book is that is good!!!!!

Great book!

I love historical fiction and this inning of those books you can't put down. in fact, it is 4am now. had to finish this book!

wanted some take charge female characters

in general I enjoyed the theme however the characters particularly the female characters were a little thin somewhat two dimensional I had the feeling life was happening to them and therefore found myself frustrated at times.

Awesome depiction of that time in history

Loved the sensitivity , the roller coaster ride of emotion, and thought prevoking storyline too.

This was my first audible experience since I lost my vision. I was gratified and so pleased, a positive surprise, The story was we.. written and compelling.It will only be the first of many in the fuyture, I’m hooked!

good story

I loved the audio interpretation. The story was good. Since it is a generational story, it is slower paced, but it still has you rooting for the characters. The only annoying part of the story was how many times the author had the characters say "What should I do?" The question was definitely over used.

Engaging Novel

Where does The Color of Secrets rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

This novel was so engaging! Unexpected twists and turns throughout. What a lovely love story. I cannot wait to read/hear more books by Lindsay Ashford. Heather Wilds did an awesome job of narrating. This is one book that made me impatient for commute time so i could listen.
