The ocean's imponderable depths contain mysteries far beyond the grasp of mortal men. From the adventurous mariners of ancient times, to simple fishermen of our own New England of yesteryear, mankind has found the seven seas to be both the source of life, and a watery grave. When man seeks to delve too deeply into that abyss, what appalling secrets will rise to the surface? And what will mankind do when faced with the unnamed horrors of the deep?

Publisher's Summary

Joshi, this collection features stories HPL wrote with other authors and includes, “The Curse of Yig” (with Zealia Bishop), “The Horror in the Museum”, “The Mound”, “The Night Ocean” (with R.H. Barlow), and many others. All tales include original music by HPLHS composer Troy Sterling Nies. This collection features 33 stories adding up to more than 23 hours of Lovecraftian listening fun, professionally performed and recorded for your enjoyment.

The review that states that this is not a collection of stories is a lie. This collection has a prologue and introduction, but the rest are stories. Please don’t try to sabotage great audiobooks purposefully or due to inattentive laziness.

Excellent! And it has a Table of Contents!
Another excellent work by Andrew Leman and Sean Branney. I heard someone say they could listen to Andrew read the phonebook and it would give them the chills, and I think that's probably true! These guys are fantastic! They go to very great lengths to make sure everything is read well and pronounced correctly.
And one of my favorite things about their stuff... it actually has a table of contents! I have seen many other audiobook collections where even though the chapters all have titles (especially if there was a print version), in Audible it's all Chapter 1, Chapter 2, etc. Makes it very difficult to find what you're looking for. No so for these guys! They made sure everything was titled, so you can easily find what stories you're looking for.

Some Diamonds in the Rough
Most were decent enough, but some stood out as genuine Yog-Sothothery such as: The Horror in the Museum, The Last Test, The Electric Excecutioner, Til a' the Seas, and the Tree on the Hill all come to mind. The Night Ocean was good in a different way, it struck a more poetic and colorful chord than usual, altogether quite good.

opinions show true horror of human nature
it starts with the readers gong on and on about HPL but the stories are very well read with emotions and all, not monotone as some of the others.
if you are looking for horror stories even if you are not a HPL fan this is an excellent read, it will keep you entertained for a long drive.
also please be aware the stories are read as they were written with the writer's prejudice and judgment of other cultures, which in my opinion is the true horror of human nature, i was aware of HPL prejudice but some of these stories make it very clear.
I love the universe HPL created but it definitely put for me some of his other stories in different light.
A great read for a long drive home.

Some good, some not so much
In general, the quality of the items included is high and well worth the price. Some of the collaborations are not typical of love crafts work.
Iterations of the same story is good for comparative analysis, but for some reason, the editors did not always group them back to back...a mistake I think. A few of the submissions were mindless rambling stream of consciousness.
The quality pieces are great listening, and fortunately that is the bulk of the collection.

HPLS do it again!
This was a very very good audiobook that looked at and included the revisions and collaborations of HP Lovecraft and others. The narrators helpfully give a précis of what they feel about the stories. This was useful. I did however feel that there somewhat negative assessments of some of these stories was a little unfair. There are some particularly good ones in here. I would recommend the mounds, wings death, and is the horror in the museum
