Fans of The Life Changing Magic of Tidying Up by Marie Kondo and The Four Tendencies by Gretchen Rubin will love The Clutter Connection by organization expert Cassandra Aarssen.

An organization book for diverse habits

"You're not messy, you just organize differently." The Clutter Connection examines and explains the correlation between brain types and how they directly relate to organization and clutter. Cassandra Aarssen smashes the stereotype that some people are "naturally messy" and offers listeners insight and real-life solutions based on their unique personal organizing style. The Clutter Connection will help you get organized, be more productive, and finally understand the why behind your clutter.

Individualized real-life organizing

Organizing isn't one size fits all. Let go of the preconceived and conventional notions of what organization looks like and finally discover what Clutterbug you are. With self-awareness comes happiness, personal growth, and lasting change.

The Clutter Connection examines the four different organizing styles and how they relate to each other; how motivation and happiness can be directly affected by our space; the "3P's" - productivity, procrastination, and perfectionism - and how they are connected to your unique organizing style; and how you can finally become clutter-free simply by knowing yourself better.

I'd really like to see a book written with the classroom teacher angle...this is good for the home, but dedicating a book to the classroom (considering the needs of your students and the teacher) would be really helpful!

I have been in process of "decluttering" my house. seems like its been forever...an ongoing battle that never ends. I move things I try new ideas and they never work. I can see traits of myself in all 4 bugs. But I have pinned it down to 2 for sure! haha! But listening to this book has given me an understanding I havent had before. (and how to cope and deal with multiple husbands clutter also!) I will be referencing back multiple time for sure because I don't have the best memory either. can you help me declutter that too? haha!

I finally get it!

I’ve read several organizing books, binge watched every hoarding show possible and have helped friends get organized and I still learned so much from this book. Will be recommending to several “neat freak” friends who are married to “messy” people! This could save some marriages! Love love love!

Great book!

Stumbled on this book looking for something else. This has been the best stumble I’ve ever had. First I am NOT a reader so the simplicity of the “message” given is wonderful. With each new bug I thought, “that’s so me. No wait that one is me.” It wasn’t until close to the ending I realized I have different needs and wants for every room in my home. Thank you Cassandra Aarssen you have helped change my piles, inside & outside closets, into a happy-time saving-functional home. Forever grateful your Platypus of bugs

Thank you Clutter Connection

For YEARS I've tried to get my house organized and have failed. This book explains why it happens and how I've been set up for failure. I've slowly been implementing her suggestions for Butterfly (me) and Bee (hubby). They've worked. I've told everyone this is a must-read book.

OMG! I'm NOT a slob!
