Publisher's summary

Apocalypse unleashed. Swift and deadly. Merciless.

Seven billion people inhabit this planet in blissful ignorance of imminent annihilation. Destruction comes, not from meteors or nuclear holocaust, but from a source no one even knows exists.

The architects of doom have long moved among us, hidden in plain sight, waiting for the signal to trigger our extinction.

A handful of survivors - traumatized, bewildered - must come to terms with the new reality. Quickly. For the Cleansing is only the beginning....

Great story

I’m anxiously awaiting the next book.
More than worth the credit.
One of my favorite of 2018.

What a great story.

Everything in the sci-fi genre is here. Really good characters, even those with black hearts. This Audible book belongs on the highest of the sci-fi genre shelf. For me, few can make the cut. I highly recommend this book. Now for the obligatory: "I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review." "I was voluntarily provided this review copy audiobook at no charge by the author, publisher and/or narrator.”

Well thought out, realistic dystopian Sci-fi/fantasy series

You know when you’re reading a book and you Don’t want to put it down? I was not even halfway through and knew I was going to struggle with putting this one down. Fave characters, characters to hate, worry about what will happen to these characters and what the others will do while being conflicted. Phew, it’s so good!

I just want to know the endgame. The more that is revealed the more impatient I am to finish. Glad it’s an audible which keeps the pace short and steady so this guy can be enjoyed as it should be even though I want to devour it as fast as possible…. Having downloaded and finished it within 48 hours I would say I definitely accomplished that.

I found the beginning a bit confusing to keep track of who was who and where but that gets easier a few chapters in. The first chapter/sampler was ok, but the synopsis is what made me buy this book and I’m glad I did. Anyone who samples the book and isn’t quite sure, it is worth your audible credit currently burning a hole in your digital pocket. The whole “dystopian world is ending” spiel is done well, with enough details to feel real and well thought out. The journeys you take with the characters are interesting and you get more and more invested.

A lot of questions and theories I’ve had were answered which I appreciate though there is still the Want to keep going on this journey and with that said, I’m off to download and start on the next book :)
