Great continuation into this supernatural action

This is the second book in the young adult supernatural action and mystery series The Nykara. I guess it could be read as a standalone but I think it's so much better if you have read book one. This book helps us jump right back in Alix's world. She is headed to England to meet with the council. She is still learning what being Nykara means and dealing with being powerful and also The Chosen One. As if being nervous isn't enough to deal with, now her best friend Shay acting strange and those she cares about being in major danger. With the help of Ben and others she has to figure out how to stop the Grynn from once again trying to harm her and those she cares about. This story had a fun twist. All I have to say is Stonehenge. I love when authors take history and spins into their fiction story. It's way fun! Besides action and mystery, this story also has some teenage romantic feelings. I just wanna scream "BE WITH BEN ALREADY!" Ben is a character I totally love. This narrator once again represents Alix perfect. I don't think there is a better voice for her. She is Alix. This book has it all and the journey is not over. I am excited to head to book three.
