Publisher's Summary
Ashling Donoghue never dreamed that moving to Ireland would rock her perception of reality and plunge her into a mystery that brings legend to life.
At 17, she’s never had a boyfriend, but she feels an immediate connection to Aengus Breasal, the son of a wealthy Irishman, who’s invited her family to stay at his Killarney Estate. For the first time in her life, a guy she likes seems attracted to her.
But Aengus is secretive, with good reason. He and his family are the Tuatha Dé Danann - ageless, mythical guardians adept at shifting between this reality and the magical dimension known as the Otherworld. Evil forces from that world threaten the Breasals, the Donoghues, and all of Ireland. Ashling must open her heart, face her fears, and embrace a destiny greater than she could ever have imagined.

Magical YA Suspense
I was fortunate to win the ebooks in this series and I was also given a complimentary copy of the audiobooks as well. I am happy to voluntarily provide an unbiased review for this first book in the series. This was an outstanding, magical story with enchanting characters and a marvellous storyline that kept me enthralled from beginning to end. I am not usually drawn to this genre, however I thoroughly enjoyed this audiobook and am anxious to begin the next one to see what happens next. I thought the narrator did a splendid job with all the voices and kept my interest throughout.

Magical
This was a magical and imaginary Irish tale. It involves an American family who is invited to Ireland on a paranormal research assignment. Little do they know how much of the past has to do with them. Mythical creatures and the Other World are enchanting. I received a complimentary audio and this review is voluntary.

A great start to the series
This book slowly eases into the fantastical and magical elements. I love how Irish lore is woven throughout, and the stage has been set for something big to come.
I enjoyed this tale by Judith Sterling. Her writing style and unique plot kept me interested from the very beginning.
Jenny Beesley did a fine job with the narration. She definitely brought out the personalities of the different characters.
I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and I have voluntarily left this review.

Great Tale
Interesting story! I love the old myths and legends of Ireland. This story is about a family who goes on a working holiday to Ireland for different purposes. One for a centuries old manuscript and one to write a book and do supernatural ghost hunting. They have 4 children 2 girls and twin boys, this particular story is about the oldest girl who has quite a gift. Her gift starts to develop as they leave for Ireland and gets more pronounced the longer, she is there. The end of the story will blow your mind and make you a little sad. The narrator did an ok job, I wish she would have distinguished between the voices more. But over all she kept me interested throughout the story. I am looking forward to the other books in this series.
I received a free copy of this audio book from Story Origin for an honest review.

Has potential
This book was just ok for me. I think the premise is great, but it felt rushed and could have been better if more time was taken in the buildup and details. The narration was ok. A little too whiny at times and while i enjoy sound effects, either do a lot or none at all. The very few, random effects were good, just needed more if sound effects are being used. I received a free copy in exchange for review.

Wounderful and Interesting Story!!
I really enjoyed this story and the characters in it. Set on Irland you start out with a story about a Woman who transcribes old manuscripts. This woman gets invited to Irland with her entire family while she spends time transcribing a manuscript. The story seems to be surrounding the oldest daughter and the son of the Irishman who invited them in the 1st place.
