Stephen W. Hawking's Cambridge lectures, exploring the most complex theories of physics, both past and present, remain the most important scientific theories known of time, space, and the nature of the cosmos. This 30th Anniversary remastered edition of The Cambridge Lectures offers listeners a unique opportunity to hear the full series of seven famed lectures exactly as Professor Hawking presented them during his tenure as Lucasian Professor of Mathematics at Cambridge University.

The best ever of all his audio books. This one was recorded using his computerized voice synthesizer so it is the closest to hearing his own mind! I'm glad I made the choice in including this on my audio book list. The original canr only be found on cassette forms.

Thank you for hareng us out

The Best Stephen Hawking lecture ever !

Would you consider the audio edition of The Cambridge Lectures to be better than the print version?

I would say not. 3 hours of his synthesized voice is difficult to get through.

Stephen Hawkins's Ideas and Words are great but..

Read to you by Stephen Hawking himself. Required listening for everyone, in my humble opinion.

Required listening IMO

I wish there were more of these lectures. They are analogous to his various books, but there is something special about him lecturing. I would highly recommend

Brilliant

The dude was smart, but he's just so full of himself. For a guy with hardly any answers, you would think that he would've been just a little more humble.

It's Hawking being Hawking for several hours
