There is also a nod to the conventional vampire story ("Pages from a Young Girl's Journal") but all the stories remain unconventional and inconclusive, which perhaps makes them all the more startling and intriguing.

An 1800's Style
Where does The Bus-Conductor: An E.F. Benson Ghost Story rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Yes. A Christmas Carol. Much different, of course.
If you could take any character from The Bus-Conductor: An E.F. Benson Ghost Story out to dinner, who would it be and why?
The one who experienced the death dream. I would want to know his thoughts about the afterlife and how sleep appears to bring us a sample of it. Realy trippy stuff, lol!
