Fabulous!

Connor Crais is awesome and he is one of my favorite narrators! The female voice was not what I was expecting. She was kind of whispering. It didn't affect me finishing the story and I love this series and am totally invested!I loved the dynamic between the two main characters. I really enjoyed this story and I can't wait to continue in the series. I don't love a misunderstanding troupe but it works for this book.

LOVE Devney Perry, but not this female narrator

For the 1st time a Devney Perry book has a narrator I don't care for. The male narrator was very good. The female narrator was disappointing. Her variations for different characters were either a whisper or talking WAY too fast. In my opinion shes not a good choice.

Love Willa Nash but female narrator is not good!

Unfortunately the female narrator mad it hard to listen to this story. Maybe she can have a new female narrator to redo the female part? Connor Crais is always awesome!

Love it but …

Her voice is not at all what I expected. Just didn’t mesh well with the story!

Bummer, I have loved the series so far, but this one was a big disappointment.
this story centers around bullying behavior by both main characters. I get
it, that's the point of the story and title. however I was over 80% in and it hadn't changed. Did either character have any redeeming qualities? I would not want to know either person IRL.
Connor Crais is a great narrator. Ms.Kay, was very difficult to listen to. too whispery and breathy for every sentence, making the volume between chapters male vs female difficult to constantly adjust the volume so I could hear the FMC sections. It made a less than interesting book, so much worse.
A huge struggle to finish it and it could not end soon enough for me. I've loved all of the other books by this author, this was a big miss for me.😕

Very disappointed

Very disappointed. I thought they were adults. But the story feels like teenagers. if I wanted a teenage themed book I would have bought it. wish I could get a refund. The first three books were amazing but this one disappointed.

Narrator Male 5 Female 2 stars

I found the female narrator's voice whiny, high and irritating. Then the storyline had the two characters bickering all the time and not in a fun way. Disappointing but do recommend this author generally.

Wonderful series

I have enjoyed all of the books in the series so I was excited to see this newest release. There’s just something about the small town of Calamity, Montana that makes you wish you could live there.

was okay book

I struggled with this book for a few reasons. female narrator was irritating and the heroine came off as whiney and unrelenting in her passed feelings.

This might be my second most favorite Devney read! (It’s the 10th I’ve finished of hers 😅) and WOW! Sooo so good! The only reason it’s not 5 was because I didn’t like cry or have any huge emotional reactions but besides that, this book was PERFECT!

Nelly is the poor scholarship girl and Cal is the rich football star. Fast forward about 10 years, and they’re still the strongest push and pull. Nelly is shocked and disappointed (but is she really?) to find that Cal has moved to her small town Calamity, MT to retire from his NFL career.

Nelly and Cal has some HUGE miscommunication from high school that were introduced to in the form of a dual timeline given through a diary! HOW UNIQUE!

This book was just chef’s kiss! I would reread immediately! I loved and felt so connected to both of these characters, and the audiobook narrators were fantastic! Totally recommend!
