Just a teaser,

I liked it but it leaves a cliffhanger. I’m going to try one of the full included books before purchasing but I’m definitely curious.

Fast-paced, spicy prequel with great narration!

Having already read and listened to The Proposal, it was fun to delve a bit more into how Isla and Liam came to be! I love how Shane East and Roxy Isles were able to bring out Liam’s alphahole nature, Isla’s sass, and that antagonistic banter that felt like foreplay, not to mention some serious forbidden romance angst, and yes, the fiery passion. Now I need to find time to re-listen to the rest of the story!😅

This was a cute intro into the next book in the series and does a great job setting up Isla and Liam’s dynamic.

Roxy Isles captures Isla’s inner conflict and vulnerability beautifully, making her instantly relatable. Shane East brings Liam to life with a cool, controlled intensity that perfectly suits his emotionally guarded personality and makes the tension simmer.

It left me very curious about their chemistry and how their story will unfold next.

Lovely Bitesized Novella!

What a delicious little teaser!! This is me running off to get THE PROPOSAL.
The Bride swop is a novella a relatively short listen of 2 plus hours making it a spicy bitesized audiobook with great narrators!

Its Wedding planner meets Groom (of her Friend and the Bride… )
There is a very tense meeting… and another…. and will there be another????
How does this work for the Bride???

I listened to the audiobook of this novella, narrated by Shane East and Roxy Isles. These two do an outstanding job presenting all the emotional depth and drama from these very few pages. Isla is hired as the wedding planner for Liam and Lila, and it's complicated. Lila is charming and cooperative, and Liam is a ruthless businessman who can barely be bothered to have any input to the planning at all. When Isla does finally meet with Liam, there is unexpected chemistry happening along with the wedding decision-making. Add this tidbit to the title of the novella, and you can guess where this is going. The story ends right there, leaving the reader on the brink of "The Proposal", which is next in the series. I was impressed with Ms. Steele's ability to set this complicated stage in so few words, and I am looking forward to the rest of the story.
