An interesting book, but not canon!

This book is a interesting read, but no Christian should take anything away. except as entertainment, or historical interest. This book is not inspired, or canon. And there is a lot of mixed information, about who wrote it. And which Enoch, the book refers to. But the safest way to know, this book is not inspired or canon. Is if it should have been, GOD would have made it to be in the Bible.

Not for me.

The echo that often occurs is annoying. The reader is ugh, annoying. The commentary is eh & I'd probably rather not have it. And the translation is weak & even often inaccurate.

Buy the physical copy instead

My issues with this one were overwhelming. I couldn't even finish. My minor is in Biblical Studies and I've always been interested in this subject but the narration was unbearable. He sounds like he's trying way too hard to sound cool and edgy and the occasional echo effect he uses, especially as he reads chapter titles, made it too hard for me to take the audio seriously.

Ad for the content, I loved the lengths that the author went to to present the complete book f Enoch. He draws from multiple texts from other cultures apart from the Jewish manuscripts from Qumran. The major issue is that the constant jumping from one text to another becomes confusing due to the audio format. You will he better off either pairing this with the physical counterpart or simply opting for the physical copy alone. This audio version simply doesn't work alone.

Horrible Narrator

He makes it difficult to follow along because he releases outloud the breaks meant just for the narrator

Not worth listening to this narrator

I had to remove this book. The narrator is horrible and the echo made it worse. So cringing to listen
