There are 13 ancient history books that are mentioned and recommended by the Bible. The Ancient Book of Jasher is the only one of the 13 that still exists. It is referenced in Joshua 10:13; 2 Samuel 1:18; and 2 Timothy 3:8. This volume contains the entire 91 chapters plus a detailed analysis of the supposed discrepancies, cross-referenced historical accounts, and detailed charts for ease of use. As with any history book there are typographical errors in the text but with three consecutive timelines running though the histories it is very easy to arrive at the exact dates of recorded events.

It is not surprising that this ancient document confirms the Scripture and the chronology given in the Hebrew version of the Old Testament, once and for all settling the chronology differences between the Hebrew Old Testament and the Greek Septuagint. Ancient Book Of Jasher

I enjoyed the book. At times I could imagine myself in that time. it also gave some clarity to what I had already read in the KJV of the bible.

Fascinating

I liked how it paralleled the Bible. Some of the voices were a bit over the top, but it made it more fun to listen to. Haha

the birthdays and deaths

how it corresponds with the Bible and fills in all the lingering questions of what happened after the Bible mentioned this occurrence. I really loved the jasher book

the argument with Joseph and Judah

the whole book was told interestingly enjoyed it a little more than listening or reading the Bible but just as informative also added context to some of the stories from the Bible which is amazing

Put the Bible in prospective. Real smooth all the way threw. Has a lot of the missing parts of the Bible.

Good Historical Stories

I listened to this book and was amused at the stories most of which I was already familiar with from reading the Holy Bible. Even though this book is not inspired like the Bible, most of the stories in this historical book may be truth or fiction. I enjoyed listening to them.

Wow a book to read indeed

The narrator was definitely on point God be praised. This book has cleared up some things that were not to clear in the Old testament.

History filled in The phase " The lion of Juda",

makes a whole more sense after reading this. The account of Aberham and his father's idiots, the trial with Nimrod, and God's great hand of deliverance, shows why Aberham was truly favor by God. This book fills in a lot details that you just don't see in the Bible.
