Getting into the vampire-only detective unit was the easy part. What’s going to be more difficult is dealing with my new partner - an ancient vampire who keeps threatening to eat me. The unit has never had a human in it. Marcus - or, as I like to call him: Fangy McFangface - would really prefer to keep it that way. He’s grumpy, short-tempered, and broody, but I have a way with words, and I know he’s starting to like me, even if he swears he’s not.

A night on the town after a long workweek at my family's distillery should include shots and dancing - not a hot kiss with a handsome stranger. I'm straight. At least, that's what I figured until I find myself locking lips with a sexy city boy. Now, all my circuits are going haywire, and the spark that ignites between us makes me even more curious. Unfortunately, I kissed the one man who's off-limits: Cohen Mitchell - the sole surviving heir to the Mitchell Creek distillery, a rival neighbor my family has feuded with for nearly a 100 years.

Smart men never dabble with demons. I never claimed to be smart, but at least, I’m powerful enough to control them. When I bound Havoc to me nearly 300 years ago, I never realized how difficult he’d make my life, although “accidentally” lighting him on fire every now and then does bring a smile to my face. Havoc is handsome, mysterious, and somehow, my closest companion, even if we don’t always get along.

Publisher's Summary
During the week Simon Seymore is a good little bookmobile librarian. He lives and breathes his job providing library access to the rural towns south of Grayson City. But every weekend he heads to the bar in search of another alpha to go home with. If he preps himself beforehand, they never have to know his secret: Simon can't slick.
Omegas who can't slick can't have children either, and alphas aren't accepting of that. At t27, Simon's learned that relationships simply aren't worth the risk. It's better to focus on his job, and stop dreaming about the mate he's never going to have.
Art Hitchens buried the love of his life five years ago. At 45, he has no intention of chasing after omegas ever again. But when a bookmobile librarian shows up in his hometown and gives him a wild proposition, Art feels alive for the first time in years.
Simon may be too young for Art and slow to trust after being rejected so many times, but Art feels a need to take care of Simon that's impossible to ignore.
The Bookmobile Baby is a May/December romance with knotting, MPreg, BDSM, and a nurturing Dom. It's the second book in the Nerds Who Knot series, but it stands alone.

I liked this book a lot but not as much as the shifter books Amy writes! The story was good but I didn’t find it the most engaging. The steamy scenes were really good!

Librarian gone wild
Ok not really, but who wants to miss out on a steamy scene in a bookmobile?
Follow the story of librarian Simon as he tries to do good in the world and find the alpha of his dreams. While thinking that his chances of ever having a family is zero, Simon meets the enigmatic Art, an alpha that thinks he can never love again and when he finds out that Simon wants a family, well, he tries to do the right thing.
There is angst in the story but also a lot of love. It's so perfect. Not to mention the great work that Barney Parkwynne did with the narration.

Sexy Daddy & his boy
This book was 10+ stars amazing!!! I absolutely love it!! For me personally it was better than the 1st but probably just more my cup of tea. I thoroughly enjoyed the light D/s play and Art (swoon 🥰😍🥰, loved his rugged, tender, sexy, dominant aura) that man (fans self) I need a daddy like him!!! And I want to shout from the roof tops THANK YOU AMY for not treating this like a love at first sight relationship. I know the few weeks they had to figure stuff out was quick, but I really liked the way you emphasized the inner battles between Art & his lost love plus Simon and how he felt about it as well. It wasn't just "oh, I lost the love of my life, neat. I found someone else". Not that I'm trying to put all the attention on Art because Simon was a beautiful character as well, I loved his heart and yearning for a love he thought he would never get. I cried with him at a few points, his story was just so sweet and heartbreaking. Also, I feel like Isaac completely redeemed himself in this book, He now has a special place in my heart. I can't wait until the rest of this series gets uploaded to Audible, but for now, I am more than happy to read it on KU!
Barney, you are an wonderful narrator! You had so much emotion and switched between Arts & Simon's voices like it was second nature. I loved your performance so much and can't wait to listen to more books by you!! Fabulous & fantastic!!💖

Wonderful Story
I love this book. I’ve read it a few times. The narrator bothered me when listening to book one and was even worse with this one. Little voice separation, lack of emotion during sex scenes, and the overall gruffness of narrator’s voice sent bad joo joo all over this story.

Good story and great characters
Simon and Art do not appear to be a match until they begin to get to know each other better. Simon believes that he is barren and is simply finding happiness where he wants it with the belief that no one would want him if they knew. Art lost his mate years earlier to an accident and believes that was his chance at his HEA. As these two get closer, there will be moments that you want to shake them but they find their way to HEA.
I really enjoyed the story line and absolutely love how Simon works to bring books to everyone.

Delightful
This is the second book in The Nerds Who Knot Series. A delightful story with good writing. I would read the first book before this one. The plot was entertaining and it was steady throughout the book. I found the story and characters likeable. The characters were developed and thought out. Simon and Art are the MC’s of this book. I can recommend book as a good read/listen. I voluntarily read an advance copy of this book for an honest review.

as good as the ebook
The story is always full stars, because if I wouldn't like the story as ebook, I wouldn't listen to the audiobook. I can't listen to an audiobook without knowing the book, that's not possible for me.
The performance from the narrator is also very important for me. I can't listen to a lot, because my English as a non-native-speaker isn't so perfect to follow a whole story over hours, when the narrator speaks too fast or too sloppy. Normally I have to SEE the person, who is talking to me in English. It took me a little bit, to come into the narrator, but at the end, it worked. I only have to take a few breaks between. I'm just not yet finish with the book, I’m over the half, but I listen enough to give a review.
PLEASE READ MY RATING SYSTEM!!!
To my ratings:
5* - very very good
it's like an A+
4* - very good and will be often re-listening
it's like an A
3* - it's more then a one-time-listening.
it's like a B

How to Attract a Daddy in 5 easy steps
Barney Parkwynne is a new-to-me narrator, but he has a wonderful gravelly voice when he's channelling older Alpha Art, but uses a nice lighter tone when voicing the younger Omega Simon.
I enjoyed this tale by Amy Bellows in her Nerds Who Knot series, so I'll be looking to check out the first book in the series, which I hadn't previously read. This book can standalone as the characters from the first book do make the occasional appearance in this story, but it's not essential to know their story to appreciate this one.
My favourite funny bit was when Simon managed to set fire to meatloaf in his oven. Recommended for lovers of MPreg Omega-verse romance. A nice way to spend an afternoon or a car journey.

Bookmobile Simon
This is a May-December romance. I love those. The librarian is Isaac’s best friend. I like how this second book shows a bit of Isaac but that doesn’t mean Simon isn’t as interesting character. He’s cute, nerdy and with a dream of being a father. Art is an older guy who comes into his library and into his life, for better or for worse, safe word or not. :-) ❤️
Good narration although sometimes Simon sounded like Art.

Such a Creative Omegaverse Story!
The Bookmobile Baby, the second book in Amy Bellows' Nerds Who Knot series, is sweet and cute and absolutely adorable.
Bellows has created a unique non-shifter Mpreg universe and I really enjoyed the very thorough and well thought out details in The Bookmobile Baby.
These are wonderful characters and my heart went out to these two men. Simon, who wants nothing more than to become a dad, and who has physical limitations which prevent that from happening. And Art, who has the biggest heart ever, who lost the love of his life five years ago and has given up on ever having love in his life again.
Though this is the second book in the series, I did not read The Accidental Everything and had no trouble following along. I'll definitely be looking to read Rhett and Isaac's story as soon as I can though.
an audio copy of The Bookmobile Baby was provided to me for the purpose of my review

Enjoyable and deeply moving
As much as I enjoyed the book,I really enjoyed this narration. Bellows's knack for her engaging stories are brought to life by Parkwynne. He truly leaves his mark with this narration. Art and Simone are truly a great pair that jump off the page. Not to be left off your list. Perfect for a long trek.

Loved it
I read this book in Kindle Unlimited when it first came out even though I hadn't read Book 1 in the series. Listening to it straight after listening toThe Accidental Everything has made this book seem even better. Revisiting with Isaac and Rhett, and getting to know Isaac's friend Simon, has been amazing.
Simon is such a sweet character who has an underlying sadness because he doesn't think he can have the children he so desperately wants. Art isn't in any way a typical Alpha and is therefore very accepting of Simon. Not that there aren't plenty of problems on the way to a HEA.
This book is longer than the last, so the storyline is more detailed. I love the descriptions such as Simon's interactions with children who visit the library and the children's books that he collects. Art's relationship with his deceased husband Dean and the intricacies of their bonding are other examples. I ended up having to buy my own copy of the book!
The narration by Barney Parkwynne is, once again, very good. The pace is just right and I love how smooth his voice is. He captures Simon and Art beautifully.

Heartwarming, inclusive, Mpreg story that will touch your heart!!
I loved this story! I'm still new to Mpreg but this story has so much heart, emotion, love and a bit of humor that I couldn't help falling in love! Simon is wonderful; he's passionate, caring and a little broken, while Art is grieving, strong and has a big heart ready to give away again! Simon and Art are perfect together!! I loved the inclusivity in this story: trans Alphas and Omegas! Such a great concept and was done with so much love and care you can tell it's from the heart!
The story follows widower Art as grapples with his lust for Simon, the towns bookmobile driver. Simon thinks he can't have kids and has tried to come to terms with that as best he can. Art doesn't think he could ever feel alive again after losing his husband, Dean who happened to be trans omega until he connects with Simon! I loved Amy's approach and the inclusion of trans characters in this story and the dynamics of their lives in the omegaverse was brilliant. I found this whole story touchingly beautiful and felt all the emotions as these characters come together and began to heal each other. This was like nothing I've ever read before and I loved everything about it! It took me so long to write up a review because I feel like my words can't do it justice and it's still holding a special place in my heart. I praise Amy and her creation and I am so thankful she decided to create these wonderful characters that have touched my heart!!
I can't recommend this story, series or author enough and the narration is fantastic. I loved that I could listen to Art and Simon come to life and fall in love again so perfectly! I loved it!!!
Thanks for reading!
