If you want to hear stories.

This book has nothing to do with investing, this is not a guide at all. There are 8 chapters, she finally gets to investing in chapter 7, 37mins. It's basic investing tips you can find in a magazine or blog. She tells stories about growing up and her experiences, people she knows, and quotes other authors, who have better books. This book is good for a high school student, a good book for a mentor as a starter book for a mentee.

I AM SHOOK!

What an amazing book! Other financial books tell you what you have the potential to do but this book tells you EXACTLY how to do it! I recommend for all but especially for that young girl who is starting her journey into womanhood. I wish I'd found this book sooner! A step by step guide to managing your finances and increasing wealth. Very easy to understand and I love all of the resources she provides.

Financial freedom

I loved everything about this book, but I feel it’s for single black women not a single mother of two struggling with zero help. I did appreciate the book & I will recommend it to any single without kids black women 🥰

literally for high school "girl's"

this book is meant for young girls as the title says. As a woman in my 40s the book was not age appropriate for me.

A stocking stuffing for all of my girls this Christmas!

This is a great read for the many who are lacking financial literacy! This book also provided great insight on other financial literature that I have added to my reading list! Thanks Paris!

Disappointed

I did not find any extra value in this book. I have listen to her podcast and other podcasts she was invited to and I love her advice so I decided to buy the book to go deeper but to my surprise I was not the case. If you have listen to her podcast and other resources that’s all, the book is just the same at the same level of profundity.

She gets it!

I loved this book, only problem is that it is framed as a guide for black girls, yet I feel it would be so useful for black boys as well.

interesting and valuable

A well written interesting and valuable insight into financial freedom. Best parts are how each chapter is set out with a review and next steps at the end. Some info is specific to the USA like the college and university routes but some are global which I can research like the FIRE model. Thank you Paris!
