Publisher's Summary

With his professional football career over due to a tragic accident, billionaire Kade Harrison takes on the task of solving a mystery for his brother-in-law and friend, Max Hamilton. But what starts out as a simple favor soon becomes a whole lot more than he bargained for when the woman he's seeking slips away from him every time he gets close to finding her. Asha Paritala is nothing like he expected, and the female he had tracked down as a favor for Max soon becomes a woman he wants for his very own, a woman who makes protective and highly predatory instincts he didn't know he had flare to life inside him. Can Kade convince her that some things are worth risking it all?

Caught between two worlds, Asha Paritala is homeless, broke and damaged from a life of abuse and neglect. Born of an American mother and an Indian immigrant father, Asha was raised as an Indian woman by a foster family after the death of her natural parents when she was little more than a baby. She's spent her entire life under the control of others until finally breaking free two years earlier, and she's determined to keep her freedom, even if it means she has to struggle to survive. But when she meets Kade Harrison, her resolve is tested. After Kade helps her through a bad situation, she finds herself beginning to trust Kade as she's never trusted a man before. Asha is tempted by the possibility of family, and the irresistible lure of a man like Kade Harrison. Can a woman caught between two cultures, so flawed and so backward, really reach out and take what she wants, or will the instinct to run from the pain of her past destroy the hope of happiness for her future?

Find out if two broken souls can heal each other in The Billionaire's Game, Book 4 of The Billionaire's Obsession series! This is a complete novel with no cliffhangers. Eighteen-plus due to sexual situations and graphic language.

Billionare series

I like the stories in the Billionare series however , all the sex in all the books are almost verbatim . This is very disappointing, not to mention they all say the F#! $ word in the story so much, it gets very old. I like the characters, but as far as originality on the the sexual side of it, im sad to say its redundant and not original .

A winner!!

Each time I think I have decided on a favourite billionaire in this awesome series, JS Scott creates another that rivals it!!! OMG!!! Kade Harrison is the PERFECT alpha male with stormy blue eyes, a sexy wall of muscled perfection and pure testosterone just emanating from him! As with all of Ms. Scott's heroes, Kade was protective and possessive especially over Asha! I loved Asha as a heroine - her constant mantras (survive, succeed, you are worthy) brought such an important message in her journey of overcoming what she had perceived was her culture's norm. This was hands down one of my favourite books in this series! 5 "I love Kade's colourful shirts" stars!!!

That was Not What I Expected

Sometimes when you're reading a series of standalones like this, you come into a new book with a bit of a preconceived notion. Maybe not how the plot will go necessarily, but how certain characters will be, certainly. I'd be looking forward to this one, since Kade has been a favorite side character. I love his crazy shirts, his casual attitude, and his general view toward life. I figured this love story was going to be a whole lot of fun. Well, it is a good story, but I didn't get the Kade I was looking forward to. In fact, at times, the apha-bossy over-protective version of him we got was not enjoyable to me at all. But he had some growing to do, and he did it well. Asha was a unique character with her own brand of issues. Together they had quite a mountain to climb. But it made a unique and beautiful story.

I loved it!

This series just keeps getting better and better. Not only is The Billionaire's Game full of steamy romance, but it is also loaded with heart, compassion, and healing. Kade and Asha's story teaches the power confronting past demons and standing strong to beat back and defeat them. I love the journey this book took me on. Asha's new-found strength and self confidence is both heart-warming and inspiring. I definitely recommend listening to this audiobook.

You can’t change the past but you can pick parts o

Giving it 4.5 stars Kade is helping his brother-in-law, Max Hamilton, find his half sister. Max was adopted when he was a baby and has been looking for any siblings he might have. He found Maddie, who is married to his friend Sam Hudson. Kade was unprepared to discover that the elusive sister to be one unforgettable and beautiful Asha. Kade has his work in front of him to get Asha to trust him since her past has taught her not to trust anyone. Asha did not have the best of childhoods. Orphaned and raised by foster Indian parents who were not loving or affectionate. Asha was brought up in the traditional ways and always felt she was not good enough. Asha’s arranged marriage to a cruel and heartless man was worse than her foster home. Asha knew she had to get out before it was too late. Kade and Asha are two people searching for a purpose and both have pasts they want to forget. Unfortunately, they are letting their past define who they are now. The chemistry between them was unexpected but they discover they need each other to heal and move on. I read the ebook but the audio gave it intensity and depth.

Kade & Asha’s Story Is Enriched By Her Culture!

Kade And Asha’s Story Is Deeply Enriched By Asha’s Indian Heritage! It Tackles Abuse, Cultural Issues, And Family. This is Kade and Asha’s story, book four in The Billionaire’s Obsession series. Kade’s story begins in The Billionaire’s Salvation ~ Max, book three in the series. Although this book reads perfectly as a stand-alone, the relevant details are summarized here. From The Billionaire’s Salvation: Kade’s sister Mia has recently reappeared after a two year disappearance. During her absence, Kade had bonded with Mia’s husband, Max Hamilton. During Mia’s absence, Max had discovered that he had a long lost sister that was a few years older than him, and that they had been given up by their mother and separated when he was just a baby. Max had been adopted by a wealthy and childless couple who loved him, but Mia had been brought up in the foster system, something that caused Max immense guilt. So when Max discovers that he and Mia may have a half sibling from their mother’s third and final marriage, with whom she had died in a drunk driving incident, Max entreats Kade’s help in tracking her down. Kade helps out at his family business, but there is nothing so pressing that he can’t afford some time away. In this book: Kade Harrison, thirty-two, loves sports. He had always been good at games, so when his pro-football career ended two years ago, it left him feeling vacant and ungrounded. A motorcycle accident had mangled his right leg. His long-time model girlfriend Amy had broken up with him while he was still in he hospital, confirming in his mind that she had never considered him to be her prince charming. Without football, he feels inadequate. He hasn’t even thought of dating since, focusing all his attention on rehab instead. Two years later, he walks with a limp. But that isn’t his only impairment. He and his siblings, Mia and Travis, had all been abused as children, and their crazy father had killed their mother before taking his own life, tarnishing their family name forever. He had always known Amy was only with him for the glamour of being with a pro-quarterback, not because she loved him, and he accepted his shortcomings long ago. After he had healed, Kade went to work at the family company with his twin, Travis, who had been running the Harrison Corporation alone and quite successfully without complaint. Still, there were areas in which Travis needed help, and Kade gladly chipped in. He was getting used to his new life, though pain killers had become a crutch that he knew he needed to get rid of. Accepting Max’s request to find his long-lost sibling had strangely cured him of that problem. The chase has now lasted two months now, and the cat and mouse game had fired him up. Asha Paritala, twenty-seven, knows she is being followed by someone. Born to an American mother and an Indian father, she might have straddled both cultures growing up. She unfortunately had lost her parents at age three. She was then taken in by an Indian foster family in Southern California, and raised to be an Indian woman. She entered into an arranged marriage at age eighteen with a man related to her foster parents. After seven years of not living up to her husband’s expectations – and failing to produce children – she finally left the marriage in shame, no longer physically able to endure her husband’s furry. Two years have passed and she still worries her ex-husband will find her. She travels the country, barely scraping by, getting work here and there from a website that showcases her wall-painting business. Though she lacks any formal education, she is a talented painter and her business is starting to pick up. But as she struggles to paint and keep one step ahead of her stalker, her health takes dive. Kade and Asha are kindred souls who find comfort in one another’s presence from the moment they meet. Outwardly, they are very different. Kade’s large build overpowers Asha’s frail body. But despite his size, Kade’s body is damaged, too. His accident left him with a limp and a mangled leg, and Asha’s malnourished body has fallen sick. Both also wear the marks of abuse – Kade’s from his childhood and Asha’s from her marriage. Emotionally, both feel inadequate. Kade was rejected by Amy following his accident, and Asha by her husband for being barren. Both had essentially begun their lives over again two years ago. Kade is settling into his role in the Harrison Corporation, and Asha is building her wall painting business. Though they have both made headway, neither is entirely settled into their career nor does either feel fully rooted in who they have become. But while Kade has had the support of his siblings and friends, Asha has never felt the love of family and has been too isolated to ever make good friendships. She has a long way to go on the road to healing. Emotionally, she is not ready for a relationship nor to open herself up to being vulnerable to another. Kade and Asha’s romance is a mature story that tackles difficult issues. It addresses abuse and the emotional consequences that last long after the body heals. It also takes a brave look at cultural issues within the Indian community – something that is unfortunately slow to change despite the changing time – as well as the difficulties of straddling two cultures. Finally, it is a story about family. Kade and Asha eventually earn their HEA. Travis’s story is next in the series, and hints of what is to come are found in this book. Kade and Asha’s story is deeply enriched by Asha’s Indian heritage. Their story is well-written. The plot is somewhat complex. The characters are carefully crafted and three dimensional. Despite Kade’s billionaire and pro-ball status, both feel very real. The story is written in third person. The POV alternates between Kade and Asha. I rate the is book 4.5 stars. As for the Audio: it is well-performed and consistent with the book. I received a copy of this audiobook and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Sweet and sexy

While not entirely unpredictable, I’m nonetheless thoroughly enjoying this series. In this book we have Kade and Asha. Asha has been through abusive hell in her life, first with a foster family, then with her now ex-husband, but since she was raised in a very traditional Indian foster family, she didn’t realize how bad it really was. Kade was used to being with women who just wanted his fame and money, his last girlfriend dumping him when an accident ended his very high profile football career. But the minute he sees Asha, who he is searching for as a favor to Max because he may be Max and Maddie’s half sister, he’s immediately smitten. Asha has been barely scraping by since she left her abusive husband, living in shelters and doing the best she could to survive. She’s definitely physically drawn to Kade, not to mention that she even loves his crazy shirts! But her conservative and strict life has her very confused about what she is feeling. I enjoyed seeing how Asha became closer with Max and Maddie and how she slowly let herself go with Kade. And seeing Kade’s alpha male possessive side was very hot. I also really love getting so see little snippets into the lives of the characters we got to know well in earlier books. It makes the whole tight knit feel that much stronger, and it’s fun to continue to see the interactions they have. It’s also fun to meet new characters that I know will feature prominently in future books, starting to get a glimpse into their lives earlier on. Overall, a great, steamy read.

Kade and Asha forever

I loved the story of Kade and Asha. Domestic violence, especially in India is such a difficult issue and it’s handled so well in this book and it’s beautiful to see Asha grow and change throughout the book. Kade is alpha but not an asshole which I love. This is one of my favourites from the series

Brilliant!

I thoroughly enjoyed Kade and Ashas story. It was really nice to read about different cultures and how Asha adapted to two different worlds. I loved the fact Asha empowered herself and stood up to those that had down trodden her and that Kade helped and supported her natural growth. A lovely story that had me gripped all through.
