Slight twist on a favorite fairy tale!

A slight twist on Cinderella, this story is sweet, fun and a pleasure to listen to. Drew is tired of attending the functions he needs to, so when he meets a woman at a masquerade ball who is completely refreshing, he is thrilled. But when she runs out without giving him any information, he is stunned. What he does have is a tennis bracelet, but is that enough to find his woman? Gwen goes to the masquerade ball posing as her friend. When she meets Drew, billionaire, good looking and nice, she is surprised! But she can't come clean on who she is. When these two finally meet, both from completely different worlds, will they find their happily ever after? This is not only a good listen, but it has such good messages. Lorana Hoopes always weaves faith and love into her stories, giving us a wonderful heart warming feeling. Add in the book narrated by herself, we have the story as it is meant to be heard. I enjoy her voice, adding the inflections and emotions just as intended. Always a pleasure to hear her.

Great story

I really enjoyed this. It was the first "billionaire" book that I had read and listened too, so I wasn't really sure...but it was really good. Loved the Cinderella type storyline. I enjoyed the characters and pretty much everything else. It's a good book. I recommend it!

I was surprised that the author narrated her own book. I haven't seen that before. But she has a really pleasant speaking voice and did a good job with expression and character differences.

I received an Audible copy from the author. All thoughts are my own.

I like it

It's a good clean romance. The narrator needs a pause between scene changes. Her version of the hero sounded like he had very little emotion, but the other characters sounded okay

A Sweet Love Story

Gwen and Drew were from different social circles, but in the end were perfect for each other. This was a fun story continuing the series. Lorena does a great job narrating, too!

A sweet read with some punch to it!

I enjoyed this sweet Christian romance book. There was some scary backstabbing by a lesser character who had all the niceness of the witch in Hansel and Gretel, plus was equally deceptive.
I did enjoy watching the male protagonist come to accept Jesus.
Overall a wonderful book!

The Billionaire's Christmas Miracle

Lorana Hoopes has become one of my favorite authors. Not only are her books really good, but her narration is just as good. This book is about miracles. Loved it.

Great read, so good I re-read it as an audiobook

Great read, so good I re-read it as an audiobook. My twenty-first read from amazing/prolific Christian author Lorana Hoopes. No matter what genre she writes in the story is always excellent. If there's a problem it's that the stories are often so short. You want them longer so you can enjoy them for a longer time. This particular story started slowly but evolved into the excellent story she always pens! (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 - July 24, 2018).
