Slight twist on a favorite fairy tale!

A slight twist on Cinderella, this story is sweet, fun and a pleasure to listen to. Drew is tired of attending the functions he needs to, so when he meets a woman at a masquerade ball who is completely refreshing, he is thrilled. But when she runs out without giving him any information, he is stunned. What he does have is a tennis bracelet, but is that enough to find his woman? Gwen goes to the masquerade ball posing as her friend. When she meets Drew, billionaire, good looking and nice, she is surprised! But she can't come clean on who she is. When these two finally meet, both from completely different worlds, will they find their happily ever after? This is not only a good listen, but it has such good messages. Lorana Hoopes always weaves faith and love into her stories, giving us a wonderful heart warming feeling. Add in the book narrated by herself, we have the story as it is meant to be heard. I enjoy her voice, adding the inflections and emotions just as intended. Always a pleasure to hear her.

Great story

I really enjoyed this. It was the first "billionaire" book that I had read and listened too, so I wasn't really sure...but it was really good. Loved the Cinderella type storyline. I enjoyed the characters and pretty much everything else. It's a good book. I recommend it!

I was surprised that the author narrated her own book. I haven't seen that before. But she has a really pleasant speaking voice and did a good job with expression and character differences.

I received an Audible copy from the author. All thoughts are my own.

A Christmas Surprise

Lorana does another great job on this book. I enjoyed this book so much that I didn't want to turn it off. it was sad that an accident had to teach the mother that money does not make a person who they are and that the son could teach her that there are good people and all social groups.

Great Read

The Billionaire’s Christmas Miracle was a great read by Lorana Hoopes. Drew met Gwen at a masquerade ball, even though their meeting was a little white lie. Drew is a billionaire who feels like Gwen is a down to earth woman but when she leaves the ball, she leaves behind a fake name and her bracelet. She attended the ball in her friend Carrie’s place. Drew comes looking for her to return her bracelet. I enjoyed reading Drew and Gwen’s story and I can’t wait to read more by Lorana Hoopes.

A sweet fairytale

This is a contemporary fairytale, a Cinderella story and a sweet one, and the writing itself is well done. The happily-ever-after comes together a little too conveniently, but works when you're in the mood for something comfortably predictable

*Clean romance level: sweet kisses, nothing graphic

[This is one of those rare cases where the author is the narrator of her own story and does a great job with it!]

Modern Cinderella

Enjoyable story of a modern Cinderella. This was a sweet, clean, Christian based read. It was nice to see the relationship develop between Gwen and Drew. It was nice to see the snobish attitude of the mother change. I really enjoyed listening and Lorana is a great narrator.

Entertaining

Written and narrated by Lorana Hoopes, The Billionaire’s Christmas Miracle was a sweet Christian romance, with a dash of mystery.

Drew Devonshire is sick of women who only want him for his money so when he meets a woman at a masquerade ball who seems to be the total opposite, he is intrigued.

However, Drew has no idea that Gwen Rodgers isn’t who everyone thinks she is. The fact that they are instantly attracted to one another only complicates the guilt that Gwen feels.

She has had a hard life and yet she still smiles and helps people whenever she can. What will happen when Drew finds out the truth? Will he forgive her deception or will he walk away?

This is a feel good story that has a message for you as you listen, heart warming and well narrated.

Enjoyable

This billionaire story is a little different than others I've read. He is not one that is stuck on himself. She is sweet, down to earth, a christian. He recognizes qualities she has that are different than the high society, money grabbing women he knows. His mother is stuck-up, only caring about displaying the high society image, willing to use her money to get what she wants & not nice to the working class. There is an HEA. I like the way Ms. Hoopes reads the book. I received a free copy from the author. This is my voluntary review.

I like it

It's a good clean romance. The narrator needs a pause between scene changes. Her version of the hero sounded like he had very little emotion, but the other characters sounded okay
