So much info and such scary times

I really enjoy the authored writing style and to revisit this book after watching the movie based on it is wildly scary and yet informative at how the crash all came about.

Can we learn from history?!

I’ve watched the movie a few times, and listened a few times to the fantastic Planet Money episodes that described the events unspooled in Michael Lewis’s fantastic book, as all his books are - and still, some aspects are hard for me to understand. What is not hard, is to draw meaningful parallels between conditions that lead to 2008 collapse and today. Its is a valuable, well researched and well researched, with great narration - a perfect audiobook.

Incredible. Eye-Opening. Shocking Insights

Amazing book -- skillfully explains the mind-boggling greed and rampant non-accountability of the country's financial elite in a way that us non-economics types can understand. But it still took some frequent rewinds to fully absorb his great explanations of the rocket science stupidity of so many money hungry Wall Streeters and ordinary citizens too. Now I finally understand (mostly) what happened to us in 2008. It almost gives some closure. Almost.

Hearing the author tell the story and using audio clips of major plot points was very engaging as a listener.
