Great book

I had a little bit of a hard time listening to this at first. Once I got used to the voice of the reader it was fine. This book is easy to understand

Very thorough

Even though economics is a very dry subject to me, I kept listening to this because of what I was learning. I enjoyed this book even if it was a marathon; seemed like it was never going to end.

Best book on economics I've ever read

Thomas Sowell gives a clear explanation of every facet of economics and helps the listener to see how they are all tied together. This book should be the textbook of choice for both high school economics and college economics.
The narrator has an unusually deep voice which I found irritating at first. But I got used to it after a chapter or so into the book.

Always Stunning from Sowell

Sowell's insights are always engaging, fascinating and we'll worth the listen. I'll always recommend Sowell to anyone, student or otherwise, looking for answers to why things are the way they are economically and beyond. This book is more dry than some of his other more conversational books, as it's meant to be more of a textbook, but it is entirely understandable and enjoyable for anyone at any level of knowledge.

Wow! Economics like you never knew....

This book is one of my all time favorite books. I literally listened to it 4 or 5 times. I just listened to it over and over in my car for a few week's. It easily explains how and why things happen in economies large and small. Great book, highly recommended!!
