Publisher's summary

Are you exhausted from dealing with the Great Resignation? Didn’t see it coming? Now what?

People leaders everywhere are spinning their wheels trying to come up with new ways to attract and keep top talent only to be ghosted again by the best candidates or get hit with another superstar’s resignation notice.

You can’t survive the Great Resignation on aimless advice like, “You must build an authentic culture, increase employee engagement, demonstrate true transparency, and treat your employees like unique human beings”. Huh? What does all that even mean exactly, and how are you supposed to do just that?

People leaders are desperate for a hands-on, tactical field guide with checklists and specific action steps on how to rebuild the right onsite and remote culture, meet the respect needs for each human being, and pinpoint what engagement really means for every one of their team members.

Join award-winning people leader Merrylue Martin, who has decades of experience in developing leaders. Merrylue’s humor, down-to-earth style, and master storytelling are but a few of the attributes that make her a sought-after leadership guru. Her firsthand practical knowledge can be put into action on day one!

The Big Quit Survival Guide is your lifeline. Everything you will need to survive and thrive during the Great Resignation is here:

  • Find out how to retain your best people (and it’s not just about money).
  • Learn how to wow the best new hires (hint: They want to be understood as people first).
  • Deal with the challenges of remote and hybrid workers because work from home is here to stay.
  • Access more than 30 survival tactics to immediately act upon now!
  • Use the 3-R scale to see if your company’s requirements outweigh the rewards and respect employees seek—and ensure that scale tips in your favor.

Get this book and take action before another “I quit” notice hits your desk.

Comprehensive Insight into Changing Work World

The author not only explains why workers are resigning, but how people leaders can prevent this by creating a healthy, cohesive environment that can retain productive, high-performing employees. This is a beneficial read, plus helpful exercises and thought-provoking questions to ponder and answer. As a member of the Great Resignation who left a toxic workplace and landed well elsewhere, I highly recommend reading this book.
