Great acting and story line but...

Is there anything you would change about this book?

Make it into Chapters. This is no fun having to find where you left off last. Also create a track list so we can know where to find certain chapters if we want.

Even story 1 was biblically inaccurate

In the very first story the expected embellishments took the story far from an accurate accounting of the biblical narrative of Adam and Eve. More importantly, the narrative replaced is harmful to the correct understanding of the rest of the Bible’s story line. It is understandable to add character quotations where they don’t exist but going far outside the storyline is harmful to long term biblical understanding.

History comes alive

I really enjoyed listening to these in my younger years, and now I'm able to share these with my child.

Great family pass time!

We love this series. Personally, the female speaking parts occasionally cause me to roll my eyes, but other than that, the sound effects and voices are great. Another good version of Scripture to immerse my family in.

Grandchildren love it!

My grandkids love it. We listen on the drive to school every morning.
Radio style drama is fun for them.

Mixed up story/adds things to the story of moses.

add things to the story of Moses and makes him unreal. Portrays him as this mighty man who never doubted God's plan. Adds things to the story of Moses and how Pharaoh behaved. Forgets and omits key factors from the Bible. One of which is God told Moses that he himself would Harden Pharaoh's heart. Portrays Moses as died in some places due to lack of accuracy in storytelling. If you've already read the story you can correct it for your children but don't leave them alone with it because there are lies mixed in with the truth and there is truth mixed up in places. some of Moses's earlier story is inaccurate as far as I can tell. It doesn't keep to the scripture enough for my purposes. I understand creative license but to change the story instead of just helping children understand the story as it is, is wrong. I have loved the other ones so far this one was a surprise. I hope they correct it and fix it later on. There's a place in the Bible that talks about what can happen if you add or take away from the Bible and so I am surprised that this is even a thing here. 😳 Read it for yourselves first!

Awesome

I loved the creative background music.
I like the story line, not exactly read from the Bible.

My Active Kids Love It!

My 8, 6, and 5 year old actually listen and enjoy this! That is a testimony to Uncle Dan and Aunt Sue, and the Your Story Hour series, because my children have a hard time sitting still and listening to any audio books I have tried so far. I was looking for something to help me fit some Bible into our home school day. Something easy that I could flip on in the morning, and it would start where we left off, and be memorable stories for the kids. This wonderful series fits the bill, and then some!

Great for the Family<br />

Listening to the stories makes me feel like I was there. It allows me to read the Bible with a greater imagination. My children enjoys hearing it and love to have discussions about the characters. The reason I gave it 4 stars is because some of the stories are little off from the Bible and I think they do that because the audience would more likely be children.
