Not my favorite by MM.

This one disappointed. The story was ok but the performance was not. The female sounded like she was just reading out loud rather than acting a role. Her distinct pronunciation of each “to” and “the” etc just sounded artificial. It was hard to get past it and get into the story. The story itself was certainly not one of the better ones by MM.

The book was really good and Romantic and serious sex no complain there. Cannot wait to read book number two.

Oh MY, all the feels!!

Just discovered Max Monroe and I LOVE her writing style, storylines, humor and characters. I mean I literally laugh out loud at some parts then am a ball of nerves.

The is the second time I’ve read The Bet. Loved it all over again. Max Monroe are the best writing duo ever!

Absolutely loved it is was funny, charming, suspenseful and overall heartwarming. I would definitely recommend and read this again.

Storyline

Narrator was bad sound like A.I reading almost go for my kindle instead only am at work do I had to stick with audible

No commitment

It was only suppose to fun, sex with no attachment.When Jude met Sophia it was lust at first sight.He wanted a no strings attached relationship. He thinks he’s not a relationship guy, until he realized the one that got away. Tanya Eby and Nelson Hobbs performance was very good. I enjoyed listening to to this story

The Agony

Omigosh! I normally love these narrators. They were the reason I took a chance on an author unknown to me.

The story was what I expected, but, oh the painful, make-your-ears-bleed narration! Both voices sound completely animatronic. I don’t know what they did to achieve this lifeless reading, but it was so, so bad. Maybe it was the director, I dunno, but it was just awful.

I gave up at the beginning of Chapter 7 and enjoyed the rest of the book on my Kindle.

Good story and I’ll definitely search for more by this author, but think I’ll stick to my Kindle if I run into these two narrators on one of her books again.
