Very enjoyable

I have really enjoyed the books in this series. The Best Match is about two men who have had major upheavals in their lives. Both men are having trouble moving on with their lives. Friends help them, by stepping in and encouraging them to do just that.Dex and Dana are very drawn to each other. Dans has s don, Lincoln, who also helps to make the match work. The HEA ending is awesome of course, but I felt the best part was Dana and Dex’s finding the courage to love each other. This is a well written book, that leaves you feeling great. I would definitely recommend this book

Matchmaking At Its Best!

The Best Match is book 2 of The Omega Dating Agency, featuring Dexter, owner of vegan coffee shop Screamin' Beans and Dana, a single father who owns his own landscaping company. Dex had previously battled cancer and thought that his battle had caused him to lose his chance at a family and love. Five years ago, a car accident left Dana with a son, Lincoln, to raise alone and a lot of guilt after his omega died. Both men have well meaning friends who feel that each men needs to move forward with their lives and try again with love, using the app. After an initial terrible first date, will these two go on to find forever?
This book is absolutely perfect! It is not only sweet and emotional, it is also funny! The characters are so well written, that you want to see more of the secondary characters (especially Lincoln) and want to hear more of the other men's stories. I personally enjoyed this book more than the first one in the series as this one seemed a little more emotional (pulled a little more at the heart-strings) to me. I feel that between Dex's medical background and the grieving that he had to do when he thought that he would not have ever have a family and Dana's grief when losing his omega in the car accident caused this to be more emotional from the start; but made it that more when they are together.
The performance was great! The voices were individual and unique while still being recognizable to the listener, making it easier as more characters are added.
Great story overall!.

Reviewed for Audiobook Boom

Tragedy, loss, bitterness, responsibility ways on the shoulders of Dana McMains. Dex Rowley found a new lease on life, but is afraid it’s to late at 43 and a cancer survivor that he maybe past his prime to find happiness. A blind date, a sweet young man bring these two together.
Jack Calihan narrates this May-December mm romance.

Great 2nd book

A single father with a guilty secret, a precocious little boy and an Omega with baggage who has given up on having a family of his own. The makings of either a drama or a love story, or maybe both. Loved it.🎧AudiobookObsession

Works as a stand alone book as well

I didn't hear/read the first book. The only negative thing I can say is I was a bit confused; was this a world without females at all? Regardless, it was a great story. I enjoyed the push and pull of the romance between two wounded souls. It wasn't too angsty. As a mom of three, I can honestly say, I love the idea of men having the babies! haha
Jack Calihan did a great job narrating. He has such a nice voice. He does a great job making it known what characher he is reading for.

lovely heart emojis

Two wrongs don't make a right. but three lefts do....a little saying but that my dad always used to say. I kept thinking this as I read this/listened to this story. Dex the 43 coffee shop owner who wants a family and Dana a widower with a son, things go wrong but it all works out in the end. I love the Bates brothers books. They are the best. this doesn't disappoint.
I just have trouble with the freaking voice in this book. it doesn't settle right with me.

Not the normal omega story

What I enjoyed most about this story was not only was the omega, Dex, older than most you read about he was well established in his life. And while he wants love and HEA it didn't and doesn't run his life.
Dex, after having a life changing event years before. He's now got some amazing friends, great business.
Life is good until a certain Alpha enters his life.

I loved hearing about all the lives involved in this story. Individual and how everyone mingled together. How everyone grew, developed and of course our HEA.

My first time with this narrator and he did a fine job.

Enjoyable story with wonderful narration

Whilst this is the first book I've read/heard in this series, it's easily enjoyable as a stand alone.
There are great characters in Dana and Dex, as well as their friends and Dana's son. They all bring a sense of family and give support throughout the story. The Omega Dating agency is a great idea, giving Alphas and Omegas the chance to find fun, relationship and possible true love. The MC's in this story have a rough start but work towards something each of them yearn for. There's fun, heat, family and friendship to entertain throughout the whole of the story and the sense of family that is created is wonderful to read/listen to.
This is the first time listening to Jack and he made the story really easy to listen to and enjoy. He brought individual personality to each characters and emotion into the story. I'm looking forward to going back and listening to the first book and any more books that may come in this series.
