The strength of women in numbers and having a voice in the Nazi era

This was great family drama, both within and outside characters. I was kept on the edge.

Narration is extremely difficult to listen to....

This narrator is horrible. If there is another book in the series with the same narrator, I don't think I'll be able to listen to it. The constant desperate tone is just irritating. Also, the voices the narrator used for different characters are just as bad. It was really difficult to get through this book. Bad, bad, bad narration.
