Virtual voice is computer-generated narration for audiobooks.

Ava is reunited, in a way, with a part of her past when James Bloch's granddaughter comes to stay at the inn...

Jessica Bennett, James Bloch's granddaughter, is now on the island. She's battling an addiction to painkillers and is haunted by visions of a woman and child. Who are they, and what do they have to do with her?

In the meantime, Andrew Jameson, the hot pop singer of the moment, is hiding out on the island. He needs to get a record finished and he needs some time away. He has something to do with Jessica's visions, but neither know that at the time. They strike up a friendship, but when Jessica discovers the truth about Andrew and her past, it breaks her completely. Can she move on?

In this feel-good beach read with a touch of magick, Ava and her friends and family will become your best friends. Come and share their joys and heartbreaks, their tragedies and triumphs. For fans of Susan Mallery, Jude Devereaux and Elin Hilderbrand!

I enjoyed the stories in this book, sometimes the virtual voice is alittle less expressive !

The story lines

I love the story and how the characters move into each other’s lives. It was uplifting and also giving a glimpse and understanding of the pain that we all go through in different parts of our life. I did not care for the automated narration at all if this had not been included in my Amazon prime, I probably would not choose anymore with the automated narration. It is very obvious words are pronounced wrong, and the spaces are taken at the wrong time.

I disliked the AI reader in the narration of the book. It was a good story, but not a good listen.
