The Beach is a collection of short stories set in Western Australia and other coastal towns in Australia. The short stories begin with "The Jetty", a story about diving with a dog with a tired body and a strong current and a faithful dog. Other stories are about the river down south in Western Australia, and about simple love and feelings of a young bloke, watchful of the river. Other stories about the time and currents of the ocean, in "She". Others are about children and the inquisitiveness of the water. While other stories are about letting go. A book for those who are yearning inner transformation or who do not quite know where to start building their emotional capacity for change.
