Baseball is my life. Not only am I good at it, but I’m determined not to end up like my father. That’s why I don’t allow myself to get too close to any woman.

But that all changes the day I see Brandy Lancaster. I’m drawn to her like a magnet, and there’s no stopping the pull she has over me. One look and I’m already in too deep, but for the first time in forever, I’m not scared of drowning.

I’m obsessed, and I suddenly don’t care because I’ll do anything to make the pretty little pet shop owner with the midnight blue eyes and raven tresses mine.
