This was a book I enjoyed reading when it came out so I was definitely in for its audio. The narrator was good. I might have hoped for a guy too. But it wasn't needed. She did great.

cute insta love story

I absolutely enjoyed this audiobook and the narrator's voice was ok its a good story and older man younger woman and heck yeah Scottish man.

Great Story

Ivy and Sean's story was entertaining to read. It seems as if they connected right away and knew they found the person they were meant to fall in love with. I like how Sean was supportive of Ivy's dreams of becoming a writer and would go back with her to America while she worked on her degree. I also liked that they came back to Scotland to raise their family. I listed to an audio version of this book and the only reason I did not give it 5 stars was due to the narration of the book. The narrator good have put a little more feeling into it. It was as if she was just reading the book and not putting an effort into performing.

Good story, decent narration

This is part of the Hot HEA Summer series and it’s the Sean and Ivy’s story. She’s visiting her aunt in Scotland after graduating high school. She meets Sean a character guide and survivalist. He falls for her the moment he sees her, he knows right away that she’s the one meant for him. He’s all in from the start, no reservations whatsoever. This is a very good story with decent narration.

Finding Their Other Half

Ivy arrives in Scotland for a visit with her Aunt Sadie before preparing to head off to college. Although she dreams of being a writer, her mom insists she become an accountant taking advantage of Ivy’s skill with numbers.

Sean is an outdoorsman who works for a charter fishing business, hoping one day to have his own business. He looks up and sees a beautiful woman on the beach, walking with Sadie. She must be a visitor. Sean can’t keep his eyes off her and wants to know more about her. He feels that this is the woman he would spend the rest of his life with. Her aunt signs Ivy up for a day on the charter boat where she will spend the day with Sean. They are both drawn to each other, and when a storm makes them shelter overnight, they explore their feelings. Will they find a way to stay together somehow? She only has a week here. But already neither wants to ever be separated from the other.

The narrator for the audiobook is Mackenzie Berry. She does a great job with the voices to make it easy for the listener to get an accurate idea of what each character is like. It helps to set the mood and is an enjoyable way to “read” and enjoy the book.

Sean and Ivy

Story: Ivy (h) is staying at her Aunt Sadie's home in Scotland for a week before heading back to college in the United States. Sean (H), a local charter boat guide, spies Ivy and is instantly drawn to her. He's thrilled to be able to get to know her better when he's hired to take her on a fishing trip, but a storm forces the pair to shelter together and the tempest outside isn't the only thing raging. This is a quick instalove romance with a side of hot and steamy action. Sean is really sweet, understanding and supportive of Ivy, just as she is oh him and his dreams too.

Audio: Nicely narrated. I often complain about the use of a single narrator for male and female voices, but not so with this audiobook.

Great book

I thought that this was a really sweet book. Sean and Ivy are instantly drawn to each other when they meet and when a storm leaves them alone together overnight, there sparks ignite and these two know that they have found their other half. There is a little bit of drama but Sean won't let his little lass get away from him now. I thought that Mackenzie Berry did a wonderful job with the narration.
