The Baron of Grogswig abandons his riotous ways of carousal and gaiety, and settles down - only to discover that simple domesticity is not the peaceful life he had envisioned. But, just when the Baron feels he can't take it any more, an unexpected visitor changes everything.

We often forget Dicken's witt, this story reminds us! Thoroughly enjoyable way to spend a half-hour driving in my car.

Wonderful Short Story

Quick little Dickens story of little significance. The narration was fine for this simple story.

Enjoyable quick listen

Well read. Understandable and followable narration with a flourish. Yet i feel it could be improved upon by a different narrator. The story however, might be too simple, even for Dickens. A light, and not unenjoyable, quaint little curiosity for the Dickens completist like myself.

Above average reader. Below average Dickens story.
