Great storyline and narration. Lots of twists and turns. Didn’t have them all figured out. . Would absolutely recommend!

Great story plot. Interesting Characters. I recommend this book, especially if you like thriller type books.

Much better than I thought

I held out on this even though audible kept shoving it in my face as a recommendation. I finally relented and was pleasantly surprised. Yes, the main woman is totally stupid and one day she's in love, obsessed with her terrible husband and the very next day she all of a sudden starts to question why he's talking to her in such a way. how shocking and original (actually it's not at all). but the story had some good twists and was slightly different than the average British domestic thriller.

Interesting twist.

Love her writing there is always an unexpected twist and mystery to her writing. She keeps you interested all the way through!

Tamsin Kennard and AJ McDine are perfectly paired! I lucked out when I purchased McDine’s “The Baby” during an Audible sale and was blown away. As always and in all ways, Kennard's narration is pure genius, bringing this twisty British thriller to vivid life. She goes above and beyond with her exquisitely perfect vocals. How does she do it? I'm obsessed with Kennard’s work and have collected many of her books over the past nine years. “The Baby” is a rollercoaster ride of surprises, complex plot twists and heart-pounding suspense, in addition to the jaw-dropping finale. Never expected that. It is a favorite standout, with a gripping premise: A mysterious infant appears in the Lucy’s home, setting off a chain reaction of events. If you’re like me, an audictive and avid fan of British psychological thrillers, you will want this in your library. I’ll be on the lookout for more by this highly talented duo. Highly recommended and I want more!

I really enjoyed this book. It kept me interested the whole way through, which is hard for me. From beginning to end, it was intriguing.

Honest Portrayal

I identified so much with this story, I could've written it myself. While my situation never rose to the extremes in the book, the inner dialogue of the main character is spot on. She goes through the process of discovery and realizes so much about herself...it's empowering and uplifting.
