We have the art of seduction, the art of war, the art of cooking, the art of sex, and the art of dancing, amongst many others. However, very few have perfected or even know about the most valuable art known to mankind, the art that should be at the centre of all our proficiencies: The Art of Conversation!
Humans are innately social creatures. That yearning, that irresistible urge to fellowship with another human being is at the core of what makes us who we are, preserves our sanity, and what has kept us since we came into being. We always seek to communicate with others, one way or another: We write books, sing songs, and draw images, all in a bid to communicate our thoughts and feelings. Communication is the expression of our souls.
However, the very same fellowship we so desperately seek has often times been ruined because we lack the necessary skills in this art of conversation, the ability to get our point across without looking like assholes. In this book, the author shows us what interpersonal communication is, its role in our lives, and also goes on to proffer 14 tips that will turn you into the James Bond of interpersonal communication.
