Books like this make me miss the old time radio. The performances were great the armchair detective what does good as ever. If you like OTR an old-time detective work or even if you just like Nero Wolfe or a bumbling Sherlock Holmes. This is the book for you I loved it and can’t wait to hear more!

Greatness!

Really enjoyed both of these mysteries! Old Tom and Trench are quite the characters. Definitely recommend.

Lively and entertaining. Some humor with sleuthing. I enjoyed it I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrators were entertaining.

If you enjoy the Christopher Lee and Basil Rathbone versions of Sherlock then you will enjoy this series of two dramas. They are a lot like the old radio dramas with sound effects.

The first story “Mayflower Court Flats” was better than the second “Manor House Mystery” story. Mayflower introduces the Armchair Detective “Old Tom” and our protagonist reporter Trench.

Manor House was a bit far fetched in its logic. In particular “the no G” mystery.

Sherlockian Style Mystery

I was Lords of these because I like short Mysteries. these are surprisingly easy to figure out before the ending. But I did enjoy the performances by both voice actors.

Saved by the performances.
