The number of books in the Bible depends on which Bible is being referenced. Protestant and Catholic churches recognize 27 New Testament books. Protestants recognize 39 books of the Jewish canon in the Old Testament. Roman Catholics hold 46 books of the Old Testament as canon, along with expanded versions of Esther and Daniel.

In addition to the 73 books of the Catholic Bible, the Orthodox Church adds three more books to their canon. By far, the largest canon of all is found in the Ethiopic Church, whose Bible totals 81 books.

This Apocryphal volume contains the books of the Catholic, Orthodox, and Ethiopic Bibles, which include:

  • 1 Esdras
  • 2 Esdras
  • 1 Maccabees
  • 2 Maccabees
  • 3 Maccabees
  • 4 Maccabees
  • Letter (Epistle) of Jeremiah
  • The Prayer of Azariah, Baruch
  • Prayer of Manasseh (Manassas)
  • Bel and the Dragon, Wisdom of Sirach
  • Wisdom of Solomon, Additions to Esther
  • Tobit
  • Judith
  • Susanna
  • Psalm 151
  • Enoch
  • Jubilees
  • 1 Clements
  • Shepherd of Hermas

I did not like the narrator. Christopher Glenn is much better. I just didn't enjoy the story.

Good narration. The navigation of the read was clunky. Please add a pdf that outlines what each chapter
contains. Bonus points for time references for easier navigation.

Actually loved the summary at the end of the book, but
Found I really wanted that information at the start of each book, rather than receive it at the end.

Although not conical, it is a great source. and has a good collection with pleasant negation

I've only listened to Enoch and if the rest of the book has this issue, I'll have to find another version. They interrupt the story for an authors note, I swear, every 5 minutes and it is SO annoying. It really detracts from the flow and enjoyment of the books. Enoch is filled with constant authors notes read aloud. It's especially annoying because most of the time, the authors note is completely unnecessary. It changes nothing about my understanding of the text. Which happens a lot lot lot.

Only one complaint but it's a big one

Unfortunately, this Audible lists chapters as Chapter 1, 2 etc, but because of the content, they REALLY need to put the book titles in with the chapter numbers. As it is now, finding books is a mess.
