Story
In a blink, I found myself in an unknown land, greeted by the textbox of an unfriendly system. It wanted me to become a great hero, save the world, win the love of the people and all that crap. But this new world already had a hero. Why should I bust my ass and deal with dragons and the unknown for people I didn't know? Let him deal with that. It's his job! So instead of being tempted by the system's nonsense, I chose a simple class. Potion maker. I wasn't interested in cultivating mana and defying the heavens, courting death, none of that crap.

John Doc Henry had been on the shortest, crappiest end of the stick since the first day of his life; no parents, bad foster parents, and abysmal luck at every turn. The day his life changed started out exactly like he had come to expect. His car died on a rarely traveled road, and he broke his toe shortly after dodging the one other car on the road. When it stopped and backed up to him, the license plate read “LADYLUK”, adding insult to injury.

Every year, the empire administers the rite of passage into adulthood. That rite serves to identify those blessed by Aether to become magi. The new magi are shipped to the academy to learn the arts of magic. The academy is a dangerous place; the tournaments held twice each year can cripple or kill the students, and the clans of the empire will go to great lengths to recruit the students they want. Gregory had one dream: to become a magi like the legends of old. Though he was ridiculed by the residents of the village and his unsupportive father, he never wavered from his dream.

An odd twist of fate made me the newest resident in Meteoropolis, a city hurtling through space on an ancient comet. After waking up in a containment pod, I got assigned to live with a unicorn gamer girl as my host. Not only did I need to find a job and a place to live, but I had to get used to bumping elbows with demons, dragons, aliens, and elves! But somehow, that wasn't even the craziest part. When I arrived in this strange new world, I found out my soul had fused with a solar dragon. Suddenly, I had powers beyond anything even the magical residents of this city were capable of.

It’s not easy making the career jump from office-supplies-store middle manager to heroic interdimensional adventurer. At least, Jason tries to be heroic, but it's hard to be good when all your powers are evil. He’ll face off against cannibals, cultists, wizards, monsters...and that’s just on the first day. He’s going to need courage, he’s going to need wit, and he’s going to need some magic powers of his own. But first, he’s going to need pants.

Publisher's Summary
The story continues, following the events of its predecessor.
In the anime world, Satovia, Clyde still battles the anime tropes, but no longer dances at the fingertips of the watchers. However, his friends have real issues, problems that intertwine with his own mission. Casting away selfishness, he finds himself awakening his real power.
The Anime Trope System, Volume 2 brings with it humor, anime tropes, and...yanderes, references, perverseness, and a lot of character development.
So, let’s level up and accidentally capture the hearts of anime girls while at it....
Warning: This novel contains sexual content, sex scenes, and sexual humor fit for anime fans. You have been warned. Not for the faintest of hearts.

Anime trope system try Hentai trope system.
I was actually enjoying this series, but somewhere around the middle it completely devolves into a cringefest of uncomfrotable juxtaposing between a one dimensional douche of a protagonist with a rape crazy sadist mini antagonist. I like my alpha male ultra harem fantasies to make more sense than a repressed virgin geek's submissive nocturnal emissions.

It is improving
I reviewed the first book though some things are still the same such as all the rape it has at the same time it has improved in all other aspects I noted before.
It has become more "anime like" in some aspect though it seems that all slice of life stuff seems to be skipped forward for fast plot progression.
The sex scenes can be pretty much described as pure hentai in this novel, but the author still lacks a bit of writing experience in that department.
though the narrator is good i would have liked a female one since there are more of those than males and make in the story.

Started this series right after game of thrones. It helped me shake of that grim dark world. The fact that this series doesn't take itself too seriously is a huge plus. Had the most comfortable stress-free drive listening to this. Can't wait for the rest of the books.

Entertainingly broken
Clyde's 'hidden' power is good and all but poorly introduced or revealed. The previous installment was paced relatively well leveling-wise but now it seems all Clyde has to do to gain experience and power is to challenge the biggest arrogant duche in the country and flick him like unhinged superman. Its not only broken plot wise but trope wise as well.
Other than that, the story seems entertaining though clyde seems to have been swallowed by the trope system even further now. 7/10, barely...... minus my bias, solid 6/10.

Story
When I went to the Caribbean for my friend's bachelor party, I wanted to experience white sand beaches, crystal blue waters, and gorgeous women. I didn't want to almost get assassinated. On the plus side, a beautiful mermaid saved me and magically healed my wounds. She’s got more scales than I pictured the beach babes having, but she's just as drop-dead gorgeous as I pictured them being.

Story
An odd twist of fate made me the newest resident in Meteoropolis, a city hurtling through space on an ancient comet. After waking up in a containment pod, I got assigned to live with a unicorn gamer girl as my host. Not only did I need to find a job and a place to live, but I had to get used to bumping elbows with demons, dragons, aliens, and elves! But somehow, that wasn't even the craziest part. When I arrived in this strange new world, I found out my soul had fused with a solar dragon. Suddenly, I had powers beyond anything even the magical residents of this city were capable of.

Story
A questline mentioned in the very early volumes has finally pulled Clyde's interest. Niyoto. However, it isn't some side quest or filler. In this city, things will get very interesting. The party is introduced to a suspicious group that claim to fight for the good of humanity. That's in addition to the city's crazy cultists. Oh and there is also a cute demon lord with a rather...different personality.
