A very G-Rated, somewhat dry romance
I enjoy historical romance novels and do prefer when they are period-appropriate and lacking in sexual content. This novel definitely fits the bill in that regard. However, it’s just so dry. I just couldn’t get myself to even finish it. Perhaps this would be a great little romance for a child to read, but as an adult I just find it so tiring. Maybe if you need a book to put you to sleep, try this one.

I guess I didn’t know what I was getting into
I really like real historic fiction, but this was neither historically accurate nor well written. Church propaganda only. I listened simply because I was too lazy to choose something new while I worked on a project.
