Story
This is book three in the A Glimpse into Hell series and was written for the extreme gore lovers. The story is pure gore for the sake of gore. The main character, Seth Coker, and his sidekick, Barry Muller, hold nothing back as they inflict the most gruesome and sadistic acts of torture on the criminals and lowlifes of our society. This audiobook is extremely graphic, but it's also filled with dark humor. Splatterpunk gets straight to the gore and has very little storyline compared to the first two books in this series.

Story
Welcome to Haver-Towne. The sedate colonial resort is the perfect place where Stew Fanshawe can get away from it all for a while. But instead finding tranquility and self-reflection, Stew finds something much more unique: a town that was once steeped in a quagmire of witchcraft, satanic debauchery, and centuries-old occult science. Indeed, Haver-Towne has a most colorful history: A warlock who sires children with his own daughter. A witch whose sheer diabolism staggers even the most demented. And a 300-year-old mansion in whose walls are embalmed the infernal secret of...Witch-Water.

What Can I Say
Spoiler Alert:
Seth, the penultimate psychopath, shows the listener more ways to torture and kill than I thought imaginable. For the length of this book it got repetitive. There really isn’t much of a plot. If you like gore for gore’s sake, then this is a book for you. If it was half as long, it would have been better. The narrator could have done a better job with the voices of the characters as well.

Love love Wade Garrett’s writing
I love Wade Garrett’s books. I’ve read them multiple times. The main character doles out warranted justice for scum bags. I am beyond thrilled some of them have been turned to audiobooks. I can listen while I’m doing multiple things. The narrator for this book is outstanding. I felt like Seth came to life with him. My all time favorite quote from this book was “hes shooting spirts at us!” I would listen to the narrator for all audiobooks but he is for sure talented reading Garrett’s book. I rewound that quote so many times because I laughed so hard. But this isn’t a comedy book. It was just hilarious. I hope Garrett writes more because it’s clear he is a smart and talented writer.

Bloody Disgusting
This book is offensive, plain and simple, the violence is over the top and unnecessary. And I loved every gory minute of it. This is one of the few listens that actually lives up to the warning it carries. My only criticism is that book one is not available yet.
