I got 21 chapters in.... I really tried to enjoy it but the middle is heavy and long. I almost didn't finish. Nico was weak for an Alpha. it seemed like he was only an alpha on paper, but the reality left a lot to be desired.
just meh..... The story picked up towards the end and brought me back in.

main characters made too many mistakes hard to root for.

This book was interesting enough to keep going but the characters were to slow and dumb for me. so many times that we knew what was happening and the main characters were like five steps behind. 21 hours where story line was dragged out only to have a cliffhanger. I am nit reading the sequel.

Loved the storyline, the mysteries and it kept me hooked. Dislike that books 2 & 3 are not on Audible yet.

This book kept me on my toes. I really enjoyed the story line. The author is a great writer.

Good Story but very much dragged out and lacks emotional connection

I found this story to be quite lengthy and boring, so I ended up skipping many parts. Although the plot was intriguing, the author spent too much time on insignificant details instead of giving more depth to the characters and their relationships. I didn't feel any real chemistry between the main characters or their best friend, and the repetition throughout the story was excessive. Overall, the story lacked momentum and the author missed the opportunity to make it truly remarkable.

I wouldn't re-read it.

The plot was fine, as was the first few chapters of this story. Great introduction to the characters and the plot seemed to be solid.. Then I don't know what happened but the entire rest of the book was filled with phone calls and conversations with other people doing the dirty work for our main characters, which instead spent basically all of their time having very boring and repetitive sex, meditating on a river bank or talking AGAIN about the conversation previously had. It was soooo damned long with unnecessary dialogues and descriptions.
I was about to DNF many times but kept at it purely out of spite at this point.. thinking, If I have spent soo much time on it already, I'll have to see how it ends.. and now of course I'm left with a cliffhanger. Sorry but no, I will not continue.

I’m not a writer so…

The book is great. I just hate how part of it is written. To the point where I’m glad that the villain has now caused chaos because y’all should’ve killed her. Or created a scene that would oust her and her family. I don’t know I just got annoyed with some parts. Especially moments where her strength could’ve shine instead of making her seem so weak and fearful.

You will be shocked

I was expecting a fully predictable novel here. I was wrong. I fully enjoyed this. also, my imagination as well.

The story has me captivated

The story had me captivated. However, the narrator is doing nothing for me. The characters voices sound all the same. I can’t tell which character is talking. Plus,there is no excitement in the voices. Wanting to finish it to see what happens but not sure I can.

I felt the story was good. It has a lot of potential, but I just felt it dragged on and on. I'm not sure if the book could have been broken up into 2 parts. However, it wasn't, so if you listen/read the story, it really is long. Again, I thought it was good. It just dragged on a little bit. The narrator was OK but didn't make many changes with male voices, probably needed a male narrator too. I am unsure if I will continue the series.
